DHS Soundstage 1 Renovation - Toy Storia Mania expansion

I can't think of any way that a "third" TSM track would work. First, the queue is in between the current loading area and Soundstage 1. Second, while the ride path has two tracks, it only has one loading and unloading zone and dispatches two vehicles at a time. A "third" track would have to be an entirely redesigned ride system if it were indeed only one track.

Even if they somehow did this, having one side handle 1/3rd of the capacity and the other sides take 2/3rds would be a nightmare to for traffic flow.

Another option would be to copy and paste and mirror the entire original ride track, and I highly doubt that would happen, given that, again, the queue is in between and would have to be completely reconfigured.

Dark green and pink = queue. Soundstage 1 would be to the left of this image.

I'm a little confused on the TSMM 3rd track rumors....

From the way I'm interpreting this it seems like where it says "Toy Story Mania" horizontally is the side of the building in which you enter the line.

If that's true and we are looking down at the building as if the street was to the right hand side, that would mean the load/unload station is north, while Soundstage 1, is south. How would they add a 3rd track in that case? It doesn't make too much sense.

I also think addition of new rides would create a shorter wait time for all rides therefore the addition of a 3rd track could become over kill and useless.
If Disney builds new rides what do people do? They flock to the park. This means more people in the park, most likely meaning they break even on capacity as a best situation, or capacity fails even more in a worst case situation.

You have the same thoughts that I did...at the exact same time!...and you have the better illustration ;)

Smokescreen! Or it could take two years to get it all moved. We know that they are never in a hurry and they might have to build the facilities as they go or it gives them plenty of time to even get it started.

They aren't going to hire Whiting Turner to create a storage area. Now if they plan to create a new exhibit space for the artifacts, that is another story.

It wouldn't make thematic sense though if they are expanding Pixar into that area.

Also any chance Pizza Planet gets moved to PIxar Place with all these rumors? Or simply removed from its current location? Just seems out of place in its current spot.

Just playing devils advocate here....we know these boards are read by some within the company. As are other forums. Any chance the person who names the permits does so with intentions of throwing us off? Stirring conversation? Wouldn't put it past Disney to keep the ole bloggers guessin'

The permits are part of the legal documentation filed with the county. They could get away with vague descriptions, but not inaccurate ones.
