I also think addition of new rides would create a shorter wait time for all rides therefore the addition of a 3rd track could become over kill and useless.
Well, that is Projects 1,2,4 & 5. By the way it looks like they will have heated toilet seats.

Not now, but say in a few years there are many new attractions that makes TSMM a walk on ( yes how nice.) wouldn't you rather have 1 more ride there and have a decent wait for TSMM?I really doubt that capacity @ TSMM would become useless.
I saw that as well. Did you see this:
"Through a very aggressive schedule, your company succeeded in maintaining all milestones set forth. This project was full of unknowns, extensive field modifications, themed finishes, and level five finishes. Even with an excess of 400 directives and field changes, 50 percent of which affected Stowell, Bill and his lead foreman Dave, managed to complete this project with the quality that exceeded Disney's standards."
Aggresive schedule? Perhaps TDO is re-using a company that was able to work quickly with the intention of extending that track and adding something alongside it as well?
Same. It shouldn't take two years to replicate a 3rd track add on.
Outside of how big that area truly is - the other thought I have is Monsters Inc. If we directly lift it from DCA and place it the area of Soundstage One - does it fit?

Well the soundstage that TSMM is built out of, has a giant building attached to the back. The queue in is what encompasses the former soundstage. Everything else is another building.
I know how they can get the wait times down at toy story without wasting a building for more track! Build more new rides.
Project 7: Frozen overlay in Imagination
Project 8: Frozen overlay in Energy
Project 9: Frozen Overlay in Dinosaur
Project 10: Frozen overlay in Tower of Terror
Okay, so correct me if I'm wrong here:
Red is Toy Story - the second part of that builiding is empty, correct? Green is the start of the backlot tour, and everything to the left is backlot's show building.
Now that's Monster's Inc. Not saying I'm settling for it here, but I'm not seeing why that size of an attraction wouldn't fit in either next to TSMM or in the old Backlot large building redone.
You are correct.
The addition added for TSMM to the original soundstage is the small section left of the box that says "Map" in you first picture.
The section between the red and green outlines is SS1 which is what is in question. The unknown is will the TSMM expansion happen or will they move South into the old Backlot real estate and further expand "Pixarland"? I don't think Whiting-Turner gets involved in small projects.
I love that ride, but it has some serious capacity issues. They'd need to double it.What about the Crush Coaster ride thing at Disneyland Paris?
