DHS Soundstage 1 Renovation - Toy Storia Mania expansion

I'm guessing this area will be a part of the expanded Pixar Place and the Studio/Soundstage Theme will not be the final setup or that building.

Yeah, this is what I am thinking. The windows needed to go because there will be a ride inside, so they just did the minimum to make it look nice until they redo the whole area. At least I am hoping this is the case.

I think I said a few months ago the facade would be a plain wasted space given the ride layout.

Building side by side with a common entrance will result in bland real estate. That's why a planned attraction usually has a hidden show building backstage.

Wasn't it said somewhere, probably on the boards somewhere, that the brick facade would be extended to Soundstage 1? Or am I dreaming that? That at least would be better and keep the theming going.

I'm sure it's probably not done but it's honestly ugly. It's just an opinion, no one needs to jump on others for that. I know the defenders want to defend at all costs but sometimes there are valid complaints. I know some think it's just nitpicking, and it is, but you have to remember where you are. A Disney message board where things are picked apart. I don't know why there has to be a constant defense. Just let someone post their opinion. And if you disagree, great, counter it, but it's slightly annoying to see the constant "IT'S NOT COMPLETE YET SO SHUT UP".

Agreed. It is on stage and it looks half-a**ed. There is no excuse for that. Leave the construction wall up if it isn't show-ready.

There will not be a facade in this area because one will not be needed. Right now it really doesn't look any worse than it has looked for years. But eventually it won't matter what it looks like.

Is there a chance that the expansion of Pixar actually re-routes the current path through the park and that Pixar Place will actually dead end where the Pixar archway is?

Good question. With Captain Jack building empty now, seems like they could take out that building and make a nice entrance to an expansion area. As mentioned before One Man's Dream could be moved - maybe even to the Innoventions area. I've always disliked the areas of HS that have plain large studio buildings.

That also makes sense. I've said in the past that I thought a new entrance to the expanded Pixar area would be around the old Jack Sparrow thing.

If your going to keep saying that it won't matter what it will look like, maybe you should explain why.

Yeah, I am not getting it either. He says this facade is permenet but it won't make a difference. So the only thing that makes sense is that this are will become backstage space evenutally.
But if its backstage, wouldn't we get a new facade? It doesn't make any sense. I'm just trying to figure this out

I'm still trying to figure out who you are arguing with. Then again I refuse to push the "show ignored content" button.

I only see the facade & entrance remaining where it is because they're too cheap to do anything else.

I don't have any details on the rumored Pixar place expansion over in that area, alas more construction should be coming. Doesn't make any sense to do anything else right now.
