Yes,I know...cast members still enter there and use the same roadways...so again why would they reroute the ramp?

A dumpster in front of the entrance to DHS....there's something really funny about that.

That would suck. Any cast coming from the south, which is quite a few, would have an extra 10 minutes added to their drive.

I hope so. Even having worked there for 2 years and visited as a guest for over 5 years now, I still don't know the lot names or where they are located.

Does anyone know if the overpass will remain in use? This is part of the January Marathon course. For those unfamiliar, you run from WWOS along Osceola Parkway, take that exit up and over the old entrance and then onto World Drive.

Hopefully the standard sign supports are temporary and will eventually be replaced with more consistent signage.

This New green fencing is cutting off two rows of cast parking (the handicap parking) across the entire parking lot. this goes from the tram lane to the park entry road on the far side so it is a HUGE area that's being fenced off. The lines up fairly evenly with the charter bus lot on the other side of the tram lanes so I think this might have something to do with the drainage reconfiguration work but I guess we will see.

In other news there's several sections of guard rail along the entry road that have been removed. These sections are deliberate in location and are wide enough for a two lane road so I suspect this will become construction access gates. sometime over the next week or so.

It takes a special level of geekdom to watch a 2 1/2 minute video of driving to a parking lot.

From the lines to enter the parking lot, it looks like a typical day crowd-wise pre-SWL.

The exit is the real improvement. It used to take 20 mins just to get out of there due to people shifting lanes and holding up traffic.

The new entrance looks fantastic! Great to see Disney continue the original theme of the studios!

While I like the new entrance, I wonder if there are any plans to spruce it up with an an entrance similar to the old DHS entrance that had the film strips. Maybe to the side of the road leading up to DHS? I know they just took the old one down.
