Carsland was for LMA. Not the wider tour area.Yes, now I remember. That is when some of us were talking them down from the misguided Carsland clone. As long as they get it right....

Silly me.That's not possible, JT has made it very clear in the past that that land could not hold the weight of Carsland structures.
This website can no longer support the weight of jt's ego. He also knew Disney Springs was coming back in 2006. He knows everything, knew everything, and has always been right. That's not possible, JT has made it very clear in the past that that land could not hold the weight of Carsland structures.
I'm waiting for the " When Disney gets the rights to put Marvel in WDW parks " argument to start upI came here looking for DHS Makeover updates....must have gotten lost on the drive over....
Might as well go for the preemptive strike nowI'm waiting for the " When Disney gets the rights to put Marvel in WDW parks " argument to start up
http://nytimes.com/2015/08/16/busin...for-star-wars-attractions.html?referrer=&_r=0The Disney-owned Marvel movie brand was conspicuously absent from plans to rehabilitate Hollywood Studios. Although Disney bought Marvel in 2009 for $4 billion, the Florida theme park rights to Marvel characters like Spider-Man, the Hulk and Captain America continue to be held by Universal under a long-term contract.
Asked in an interview in July if Universal would ever sell those rights, Thomas L. Williams, Universal’s theme park chairman, answered with one word: “No.”
We may call it a waste, but, I would bet my retirement on the fact that it will probably be the most used and occupied piece of land that Epcot and World Showcase, in particular, has ever had.Well, I know one plot where they won't be! Because they're wasting it on frozen.
Love the one word answer, NoMight as well go for the preemptive strike now

Has anyone been back to LMA to see if there is any movement over when the backlot tour use to be?
Love the one word answer, No
RnRC stays. No one's talking about if rnrc is safe. And if indiana jones stunt show decides to stay for like 15+years will their be enough room to add an updated version of the Indiana jones, adventure? If you would have to choose would you make it more similar to Paris version or Tokyo version? I'm leaving out disney land ca version.whats the best indiana jones ride of all the Disney parks around the world if anyone has experienced it. I don't understand why people won't talk about IJ on this forum. It's a pretty good franchise.

Yes he might go but it seems like people on here are thinking it is the end of the famous iconic archeologist that the GreatRnRC stays.
And people do talk about Indy here...he's losing his stunt show.
Although I understand you sentiment, let's get real. That piece of land has been vacant since 1982. That's 34 years! If it doesn't have a country in there by now, it simply would never have one. The years following the opening of EPCOT, they really were active in trying to get other countries in there, and that was during the time when countries actually spent money for that type of exposure. That ship sailed a long time ago. Social media and the internet became the go to method of getting the word out and it was practically free. It was a great idea in it's time, but, it's time has long passed. That sort of hysteria would have happened if they put it anywhere, instead they took a plot that might have otherwise been a country some day. Now I don't think the theme of countries will ever occupy the expansion pads in world showcase.
Only Adventureland in MK and somewhere in DHS would make sense and both parks definitely have the space for it.When is the next d23expo? Is it every other year? I assume disney will reveal more of the Disney hollywood studios extreme makeover for the near future and when indy 5 starts filming maybe we'll know more about IJESS. Hmm should've thought of that earlier. It's not all about Indy I know but to me he holds a place in Disneys heart.just like star wars. Question is do you move him to MK? Or AK? Keep him at dhs? Obviously epcot isn't a fit unless they add a Pavillion of him at world showcase lol.
I'm waiting for them to re-release Song of the South.Might sound a little dumb and it probably won't happen but I think disney should consider bringing some of their lesser known films to life even though to me they're great! The great mouse detective, the rescuers, brave little toaster hamm not sure if that's disney or not, the jungle book, the black cauldron!!!?? Sword in the stone...Ward!!!! Ward!!! Sorry I couldn't help it.
