It's going to give them a massive kick in the rear when it opens and they've finally got some genuine competition for a full vacation stay. They've left it far too late for anything remotely enough to compete now though.

Dino land has the potential to go from one of the worst lands in any disney theme park to one of the best.
A full continent that fits the continents of Animal Kingdom.

Yeah, so the new Figment costume character look much more like the original animatronic, which I like….but he is freaking HUGE just like the prior costume character that scared the kiddies.
Why oh why is ‘Figzilla’ back….??

Once again, Disney drops the ball and takes the ‘ cheap’ route…
My understanding was this was supposed to be a smaller character, Figment sized…similar to the past ‘living characters’ , an example being Baby Groot.
They already tried the giant dragon costume once…and it was a fail.
It didn’t resonate with Guests.
Even my boy Tony disliked it…pointing out that part of the appeal of the character us the fact he is a pint sized character.
A nearly seven foot version doesn’t cut it.
This is a disappointment.
Was really hoping they would NOT again go in this direction.
Disney had the chance to do something really special with this character meeting option, and they took the lazy route.

When I read about Indy and Animal Kingdom, paleontology comes up. Somehow, Indy has already done some work in that field in some book or TV show out there?
