Oh good, I liked the film but it’s dated and is in need of a refresh. According to Wikipedia though someone has written that it is closing to make way for the Brazil Pavillion? I doubt it.

I’ve just corrected that. The beauty of Wiki; it can be written by people who don’t have a clue.
I have a lot of the preshow; I was editing it a few weeks ago. I can’t say off hand if it’s complete but it did go on forever.

It's exactly what it's for...When you get to The Land and find out your FP aren't activated until the next 20 mins and Living with the land's line is 50 mins and the seating area is full of guests with no seating in sight....This....This is why this was there....

What was the pre-show. Sat through this twice. Once with my wife on a hot day and once with my toddler son while the wife road soarin. I don't remember any pre-show?

Great movie ride has a nice thearter they can useIn the first room (with the carpet mural) there are small TV screens showing clips of nature and quotes about saving the environment. Ive just always enjoyed watching it and I consider it just as important and entertaining as the actual show.

If they don't replace it with something in the spirit of Epcot then it will indicate that Epcot is slated for the trash heap when the renovation is announced.

Well they did. But now the space they did have is being cleared to make way for the Brazil pavillion, and here is a handy theatre they can use instead. Saves having to build or convert something else.....
Plus wasn't this one of those "temporary" features that just stayed? Kinda like "One Man's Dream".
The (final) replacement should still be in keeping with the pavilion.
Circle of Life was a permanent attraction. It just never got updated.
Like many 1982 installations, The Harvest Theatre is a beautiful and top spec facility. It hasn’t been allowed to fall into disrepair as much as others did and could really shine again with the right product.

I agree...I would take my time in the parks and I'm glad I'll get to see it while I'm there..And I'm hoping to make the last viewing of it on the 3rd while I'm there.. But, At least it will live on forever on Youtube...

Not sure I'd describe a film about the importance of the environment as "a complete waste of time", especially in a park that's theoretically supposed to be about the future, community and progress.
