Not sure I'd describe a film about the importance of the environment as "a complete waste of time", especially in a park that's theoretically supposed to be about the future, community and progress.

Circle of Life was a permanent attraction. It just never got updated.

Like many 1982 installations, The Harvest Theatre is a beautiful and top spec facility. It hasn’t been allowed to fall into disrepair as much as others did and could really shine again with the right product.

When you say it was a permanent attraction... Do you mean that it was actually meant to stay there forever, but just be updated over the years with new info and it just never got done? Or permanent in the sense of, say, any film. Like EO, HISTA, Canada, China, ect.
