Thank you everyone for your help!! I appreciate it. We are now looking into Port Orleans & the Wilderness lodge. Hubby wants to stay at the cabins really bad. But seems to be too pricey. Are the meal deals worth getting? Or buying our own food while there better off?

The cabins come with some transportation problems that other places don't have.

Since this is you first time, stay flexible and just get your meals on your own. If you plan to do some Table Service meals, make your Advance Dining Reservations well in advance.

Good luck.

If you are looking to save at values, Pop.

If you are looking at a moderate, either PO Riverside or French Quarter.

My personal favorite is AKL.

Out of the two you mentioned, WL.

So we are now looking at Value resort's because the other's don't fit in our budget for this trip. I was told to stay at Pop. Which is better out of them all? & the best food court? Appreciate the help.
Thank's again.

Out of the values I'd go with Pop, but that's me. As you'll find everyone has their own reasons and why. I like the food court and theme at Pop the best. I've stayed at Movies and Music, and they're nice, but it's just something about Pop and the atmosphere that it just seems more magical to us.

From what I have heard I would stay at Pop. Ive heard the food court is good there, but I also suggest making a few Dining reservations at the table service locations throughout Disney. getting an early breakfast reservation at Crystal palace will get you the early entry into Magic Kingdom, and you can enjoy a nice leisurely walk down a non-crowded main street. there are many other table service meals I would suggest but Crystal Palace is one of the first ones I would suggest! :)

To book Crystal Palace it is the same as any table service, you can either call the wdw reservation line, or you can book online. I find it awesome to book online because you can see the different times available easily, and you can try different dates etc all on your own instead of having someone on the other end of the phone line do it for you. The Crystal palace is located in the Magaic Kingdom, it is right off the "hub" and if you check out a map you can see its exact location. It is a buffet meal, and has a huge selection for breakfast. Whats great about it is that it is a fixed price (about 20 or so per person) which is a bit hefty, but you get to see the chracters which is always fun, plus you can fill up as much as you can eat and then have a light lunch to make up for the price. Getting let into the park at 8 when it doesnt open until 9 is AWESOME! by the time you are done with your meal it is almost time for the park to open and you can be right at at a rope for rope drop!!! The pictures of the castle with an empty street are worth the cost of breakfast alone!!! I would suggest you check out the online booking system for dining ahead of time just to play around around with it, and understand how it works, even if you accidently book a meal, u can easily cancel it! lol

Basically, every post asking "What is the cheapest on-site hotel for X time of year?" has the same answer... the value resorts. Pop Century or All Star Sports, Movies, or Music.

We've stayed at PO Riverside in 08 and at POP in 09; the plan is to stay at Caribbean Beach Resort in 2010.

PO Riverside was very quiet and we had a very long walk to the food court. Bus service was not the best.

POP was more kid friendly and a favorite of my 8 yr old. Bus service was perfect - basically no wait.

We're hoping we like CBR in Nov of this year.
