With all of the interesting facts about WDW out there, there have to be a handfull of ones that are false. How about the "fact" that all of the US flags on Mainstreet are somehow botched so they don't have to take them down. Is that true? Seriously, I don't know.

Any false facts you guys have?

I'm not sure what you mean since they do a formal flag retreat every day on Main Street.

They also moved guidance command to Everest too - the Space Mountain relay tower won`t be able to control the missiles during the forthcoming rehab.

Not botched, as I understand it.
They are made of nylon, which makes them technically flag-styled pennants. An "official" flag, which must be taken down, has to be of a certain thread-count material.
That difference, along with slight color variances, makes them pennants that can remain on display at all times.

At least that is how it was explained to me.....

And woe betide you if the flag touches the ground as I found out as a young NCO (yes I was once) when I did the sunset ceremony.

I have a large flag in my conservatory that used to fly at Zweibrücken, It was very kindly lent to me on a permanent basis and its disappearance only caused minor ripples in RAF /USAF relations.

Oh, one of my favorites is that the plane in The Great Movie Ride is the same one as used in Casablanca.
Though I do believe that the plane is split in half between TGMR and Jungle Cruise. Is that correct?

False fact: The utilidors (tunnels) under Magic Kingdom are underground tunnels.

Fact: They aren't underground. They are the first floor of a building. Magic Kingdom is the second floor of the building, and parts of MK like Fantasyland are the third floor.
