Dear Disney Channel, Please include some Disney Park Programming

Would it hurt to include a weekly 1/2 hour special dedicated to nothing but disney park information? It could be on...

rides
hotels
entertainment
insider info
previews of upcoming attractions
dining info
info on parks worldwide


I WOULD NEVER EVER MISS THIS SHOW IF IT WAS SHOWN ON A WEEKLY BASIS!!!

Our local cable provider has, at a tier we are not on, a Disney Travel channel. I have only seen commercials but it looks like park and resort type of details.

By the way, I too would watch weekly. They could keep up with new developments, creating more excitement and antici (say it) pation.

Yeah, that would be cool. I do miss the Inside Out shows. They were great.

The Disney 365 spots aren't enough. Even if they had more of the shorts like Imagineer That! (the older one with Tom Morrow 2.0, not the new ones that just encourage you to use your imagination).

Didn't way back in the day they used to have a lot more park related things on the Disney Channel? I thought I remembered watching specials all the time when I was really little.

They definately did used to produce content like this (maybe it was only on abc though, I can't remember) I think it would be a great idea to have it return and I would definately tune in every time or set it up with PVR.

I was always a HUGE fan of Disney Channel's "Inside Out". If something along those lines was brought on for a half hour a week, I'd be a happy girl.

Great Post. You are absolutely right. Back in "the day" they used to have a good amount of WDW related programming, and those were by far my favorite shows on that channel.

I am completely dumbfounded as to why they no longer run any WDW related shows. They have their own channel...... so what better way to advertise your parks then to use your own channel to do it??? That would seem completely logical to me. They take the trouble to pay for commercials on other networks, but don't even bother to plug their parks on THEIR OWN network.

They send the ESPN crew to WDW once a year but they can't send any Disney Channel shows? I might actually watch that dreadful channel every now and then if they find a way to incorporate WDW.

That looks like it would have been a pretty sweet show actually! I know it is hard to say, having only seen the opening and all, but any show filled with WDW content would make my day!:sohappy:
