This sailing was incredible. Let's start with the fact that I live like 20 minutes to Cape Liberty so the commute to my vacation was among the easiest ever!!! Also I am more accustomed to trotting over the bridge as I live in Staten Island, NY as opposed to sailing under it. I have to say under is better!!! Marie

You have me beat - I am about 45 min from Cape Liberty (but no bridges to cross for me)

The driving to, and parking at, Cape Liberty is extremely easy. That is one of the reasons we have done that cruise multiple times. I wish there were more cruises leaving out of that port.

On my last ship inspection with Royal Caribbean with our District Sales Manager for RCCL, I did mention that to her. With the airlines being so unreliable, not to mention expensive, with baggage fees and everything else thrown in, that they should look into having more sailings out of this area. I'd love to see that for sure!! Marie

As you can piece together from my last posts, I live in NJ and just finished an Alaska cruise. The uncertainty with the airlines was the biggest stressor. Flying does not bother me. NOT flying when I am supposed to be flying is what bothers me. We arrived late Wed night for a Friday sailing, just because we wanted some room to accommodate any delays. Fortunately our outbound flight was not delayed. Our flight home was, and we got in around 11:30 PM instead of 8:00 PM, but it could have been worse.

I wont even get into my flights in May of 22 going to Amsterdam. It was a disaster and my luggage was misdirected for a period of time. Not a good thing when you are getting on a cruise ship!!! I was completely enchanted with the destinations on that cruise though, being England, Ireland and Scotland. Planning on going back to London next May. one of my favorites for sure. Marie
