Absolutely stunning!!! I so hope to be able to see thos sight someday!!!
My daughter on the set of Disney Dreams on the stage of the Walt Disney Theater.
That was on our Med Cruise. On one of the sea days, there was a backstage tour, where they opened up the stage of the Walt Disney Theater so people could walk up there and see where stuff was stored (I'll post some more pictures from this if you're interested). They brought out costumes. They lowered and raised the lifts while we were on stage so we could see that, as well.Great stuff!! How did ye get this pic???

Well, like an idiot, I had neglected to bring my camera. So I ran back to the stateroom and grabbed my camera. My daughter happened to be there and when I told her what I was doing, she decided to come along. We ran back to the Walt Disney Theater to see the rest of the tour, which was a lot of fun. And that's how I got the picture of Molly on the Dreams bed.
And now for the rest of the story. . .
When it was done, I explained that I didn't have my camera when the lifts were lowered and asked if they could do it again, just so I could have a picture. The tour "guide" politely declined (some policy reason that I can't remember). . . BUT, he said, if we stuck around after everyone had left, he would take us UNDER the stage, so we could see all the prop storage, and see the lift machinery. He must have spent an extra 45 minutes with just my daughter and me, showing us around under the stage and the sound booth. It was a unique and truly fascinating Cast Member interaction.
And so. . . Here's a picture of my daughter "under the stage" with props from "Under the Sea".
Another picture from our backstage tour in the Walt Disney Theater. Here are several costumes that they brought out to show us. The gold dress is Belle's gown and the rest are from "Twice Charmed". You can see Cinderella's dress and Prince Charming's uniform from the original ball. Franco's costume is there. The gown farthest from the camera is Cinderella's final gown for the big happy ending. They told us that gown cost something like $25,000 to make. AND there's a second gown, exactly like it, for a back-up!
