Disney California Adventure has E-ticket attractions? RSR maybe. But nothing else is of that caliber. Let's not be Goofy.

I understand the thinking behind adding the transitions, but I resent the way that just about every transition involves throwing something in your face.
The original had the same transitions. Somehow, the new version made everyone angry.
The new version stinks. There's a charm to the lunacy of the original. You're in a militaristic hangar facility with music from Patton and the like playing, then you're in a hang glider thing (?) with an obvious blue screen and suddenly seeing the golden state, complete with an opener reminscent of the opening credits from The Towering Inferno and a Yosemite scene that evokes the opening credits of Star Trek V complete with Goldsmith music.
Wow, saying everything negative about the original as if it’s good and the new version is bad because it just is.

Remember, the E ticket wasn't just determined by attraction quality, but popularity. The Monorail, pack mules, Small World were all E tickets along side Pirates and Haunted Mansion.

I think Grizzly River Run and CA Screamin would easily qualify.

Of course you're historically correct, but perhaps the definition has evolved since the retirement of the ticketing system. At least I always think of it as a reference to the inherent quality of a ride. Naturally I realize that is subjective, but it seems like there is a general consensus in most cases.

I tend to spend maybe 2-3 hours in DCA when I make my visits. I don’t see the benefit of staying there for too long when Disneyland is across, five minutes away.

I can’t remember the last time I rode RSR. The ride is fun, yes, but it’s not very repeatable for me.

Buena Vista Street, Grizzly Peak, Paradise Pier, and Tower of Terror are the only things about DCA that I miss when I only go to Disneyland. Fortunately, two of them are gone making it easier for me to not even consider going there.

Nah... rewatch some vids. The original just had these abrupt switches to the next scene, there wasn't really much in the way of transition. Everyone at the time thought that was a weak point of the original, but unfortunately the way they handled it in 2.0 just comes across as too fake. The whole thing just seems fake to me, there's just something very lifeless to it all IMO. I wish they allowed you to choose between the two with having one in each theater.

I’ll take World Showcase alone over DCA...

Yeah... I'll never quite understand the mindset between choosing attraction count over park quality. Such an arbitrary thing. While I do of course go for the attractions, that's only a part of the experience. Walking around World Showcase or DAK are both experiences that cannot be replicated at either Anaheim park. I'd choose either over DCA any day, even with attraction count in mind.

I just will never get over the ultra cheesy Ferris wheel as the icon of the park, even with mickeys face removed, has this been confirmed?

Yes, the original does have some quick cuts rather than all transitions in the new version, but describing the transitions as “fake”? The actual scenes are not fake. It’s still a highly produced movie and it looks more polished.

Oh c’mon, whatever is actually real in the new one has been digitized so much on top of that it’s hard to even tell what’s left of whatever they actually filmed. They went way overboard with rendering CG effects and should have shown more restraint.

It’s obvious that you see what they filmed. You’re objecting to any filters or processing that it may have had. The original had less such processing and people complained about the grainy images and the dirty films. They went digital so there’s no grainy or dirty film to worry about. If you want a side by side comparison, they could just do a quick digital copy, but it’ll get a bad response if it’s not further improved by eliminating the specks that you enjoy so much.
