Expedition Everest Rumors
Some Expedition Everest rumors:
  • Daytime coaster testing begins in two weeks. A water feature will be coming very shortly. At least 30 days of continuous trial will be needed. The attraction will open in early 2006 and is unlikely to have guest previews in 2005.
  • Theater in the Wild may "move" to Asia with a replacement show for Tarzan themed to Everest.
  • Rafiki's Planet Watch may be refurbished in 2006 with a new walkway to Asia. Emporium-style store and a full service restaurant.

Are you talking about the waterfalls?

Yes I believe he is. However, I'm confused by the daytime testing comment. They've been doing daytime testing for a while.

OP, do you mean daytime testing with riders?

We all know AK really needs full service restaurants, especially if they are going to extend opening hours when Everest opens, so, seems to make sense, I hope that rumour is true :D

Maybe he means that it will begin to be a regualar, scheduled, constant testing? The purpose being to see how the ride fairs under normal guest conditions of a eight-twelve hour day of constant use.

Oooh, I'd like to see the Planet Watch refurb and walkway happen. I always liked Rafiki's Planet Watch, but never liked waiting for the train.

oh, how i would love a full service thai or indian restaurant in WDW. there are a few in the orlando area. a good thai one on 192 (forget the name), but a Disneyfied one would be great. And clearly it would be a restaurant of southern Asian focus, as is the Asia of AK.

Because I've heard that from a few people and I don't think they would lie about those kind of things.

Don't make stuff up. Yes, I am doubting you openly. You've gone from arguing over the length of EE's track for pages and pages to having "sources" in about two weeks?

You don't have to make stuff up.

I enjoy riding the train and skip Rafiki's...
A long walk to pet sheep and goats...doesn't do it for me.

Plus ... walking past the huge manure pile isn't too attractive either.
