Days do you need to see WDW?

5 Days would be my absolute MAX. By day 4, Im getting worn out and ready for my house, my pets, my bed....LOL. I can't believe how long people stay sometimes. I must be getting old or something!

Although, maybe by staying longer, you can take it slower/easier, so you're NOT totally whipped out by day 4!

We usually always do 7 days 6 nights each trip and that is always more than enough time to do each park more than once. The shortest I've ever stayed was 4 nights and I just felt rushed so we keep it at 7 days from now on, sometimes 7 nights, 8 days. Everyone is different though.. It really depends on how each family tours WDW and if they've been there enough times to know the ropes.

I'd love to experience 10 days but think that would be too much if just doing the parks is what that 10 days entailed. Alot of people that stay that long do parks and the water parks in addition to DTD.

That being said we do 6 days...2 in Magic Kingdom, 2 in Epcot and 1 each for Animal Kingdom and Disney Hollywood Studios. Also we usually go over the holidays and now have a new tradition that means going back into Magic Kingdom at night (on one of our not MK days) to do the Christmas Party so really we do MK 2.25 days LOL Just depends on what you want to accomplish while on your trip!!

It really depends...if this were a once in a lifetime trip or a trip where I wanted to see as much as humanly possible, I might say around 2 weeks; however, that kind of trip is not for everyone.

We personally can't do more than a week with WDW...6 park days max. Truthfully, the best trips we've had are our shorter trips...5 days max. In some ways it's kind of a nice b/c with 5 days (no more than 3 park days), you're not trying to fit in everything...just your favorite things and some new things. As for where to go/what to do...if no waterparks are involved...we like 2-3 days at MK, 1-2 days at Epcot, .5-1 day at DHS, and .5 of a day at AK.

We go for three weeks and visit Universal Studios, the beach and International Drive... and then buy a 10 day ticket for Disney (usually 4 days at Magic Kingdom, 2 at Epcot, 2 at Hollywood Studios and 1 day at Animal Kingdom, and then half a day anywhere we feel like going...) $2 or $3s for extra days after buying your 7 or 8th day ticket are irresistible!

For a true family vacation we generally went for 2 weeks. My last two trips were 5 nights. The first of those I arrived very late at night and left early in the morning, the second 5 night I had a full day pretty much arriving with EMH that evening and a late night flight to depart so I had 6 days in the park verses 4 the other 5 night trip. Arrival and departure times play into the answer.

How you are going to dine really plays into how many days you will need to accomplish everything on your bucket-list. TS dining really ate into our park times, the commute times, when you actually are seated for ADR and back to touring in the parks. We on average lost a couple of hours for each TS ADR, over 6 days we figure we lost almost a day eating. QS wasn't an issue, we could usually get in and out in 30 minutes without a major intuition to our touring the parks.

We had five full days this last trip, and I was exhausted!! I think because we were only staying for five, we felt rushed to cram everything in (for the kids' sake) and if we had a longer stay, would have more down time.

Heck, I'm still exhausted. I need a vacation from my vacation.

we did 5 days and that was almost overload. luckily we took a half day on two of the days to just do DTD and to play in the CB pool.

In retrospect, I would have traded our full day at AK for a half day there and another half day at the pool.

I go for 10 - 17 days every trip. I find that it means we don't have to feel rushed in the parks, we can skip rides with long lines and hit them another day, etc. Plus, we get more pool / waterpark time, which we both enjoy.

I'd say a minimum is 5 days...but even that's tight. I'd go for 7 at least, and that leaves time for DTD and Waterparks, etc.

I'm not sure what I would do with 10 or more days. I find the sweet spot to be 5-6 park days, 7-8 total nights. MK warrants 2 days, Epcot 1-2, AK 1, HS 1. However, an average time away from WDW in my household is 8 months between visits. I guess I go often enough to get my fill.

I go annually for 10+ days. There are several days we don't do "parks" much at all. The first 4 days we do whole days at each of the parks. Then, from there, we do a lot of split days (go to one park in the morning, water park or hotel pool for a few hours, evening at another park). It also allows time to check out a lot of the restaurants and entertainment at hotels as well. I love walking Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Usually 14 days, but have had trips of 10 days. I have friends who fly down just for a quick weekend. I don't know how they can be satisfied with such a short trip. Don't think I will ever be satisfied with the number of days I have booked. Theres always more I want to do or see. The end always comes too soon.:(
