My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He was a great performer, had to pleasure to see him at Epcot during the Flower festival, he put on a heck of a show. He was scheduled to perfrom at this years festival May 18-20.

Wow - this is such sad news. He always maintained his adorable childish glow even as he aged. Growing up I was a HUGE Monkees fan and always thought I'd marry him someday! He will be missed.

We were fortunate to watch him put on an amazing performance at EPCOT.
Just reminds us all to hold our loved ones a little closer, tell them again how much they are loved and appreciated because our time on earth is precious, so quickly gone, none of us are immortal. Prayers being said for Davy and his family.

You once thought of me
As a white knight on his steed
Now you know how happy I can be
oh and our good times start and end
Without dollar one to spend
But how much baby do we really need.

RIP Davy, I loved watching The Monkees as a child, Davy was my favourite, he was such a cheeky chappie! Plus being English myself I felt he was the best one!!! :animwink:

I opened the link thinking I would find an update on the waterfall effect at Pirates only to find this devastating news. So sad. Davy, you'll be missed.

I always liked Davy. Got the chance to see the Monkees during their reunion tour. My first actual concert. Such a fun night. Wish I had gotten the opportunity to see him perform during F&G, I would have gladly giving up "park time" for that!!
