Davy Jones being down was one of the many things I saw on my trip to WDW 5/2-5/7
-5/6 Davy Jones was just talking, no mister, and not even a projection on the water
-5/6 Yeti had red eyes and looks like it was moving, then again I wizzed past him
- 5/6 I had an AWSOME CM on JC, micah (or mikah) something like that. He was halarious, and he didn't recycle any of the 5,000 old jokes told again and again. He was WAY more modern then the JC's I have been on before too. Overall I would say he's the best I have had, it felt like he decided to take a couple cruises alone and build up material. He also decided to rag a bit on members in the same boat. Like giving the boat updates on how long a lady who refused to put down her guide map had been. She TOTALLY didn't get it. He even asked her when wishes was, and after looking at her map for the ENTIRE JC (we were stacked back 3 deep behind the dock), she looked up, confused, and said idk. Even when we went into the cave she STILL tried to read her guide map :ROFLOL:. He made fun of my pants as i was leaving but i didnt even realize it, atleast my dad got a kick out of it.
-Forgot about the quote challenge in AdventureLand that I had never done and next time I go i just need to know when and where an im ALL about it bout it!
-Had a cool tour in WL talking about the archetecture and trains walt loved. It was really awsome b/c since we went there on a day when they we'rnt supposed to be having it, we got a personal tour
. He said it was gonna take no more then 20 minutes and I joked 3 hours......it had been 1 1/2 before he we were done. Anyone with time to spare in disney and is interested in talking a REALLY cool guy in WL, just go around 9:30 and ask about the free tour.
-Had the BEST breakfast at the fort wilderness resort and camp ground. It was like 13 bucks, and for all you can eat, it was a DEAL. Especially since breakfast spilled over onto lunch and we paid breakfast prices for both! That and NO ONE was there, it really was the best value on disney property.
-Talked 2 a really cool CM (about the ride breaking) at EE who remembered me an hour or two later.
-Dinosaur people get MADD props. I RAN (well jogged b/c my shoes wernt tied, but i was moving way faster then anyone else) from PW (b/c the line was so long) to Dinosaur (b/c i wanted to do Kali, EE, PW, and Dinosaur but EE and PW were 1ce again WAY too long). It was extra magic hour and I got there RIGHT AT 8 oclock. And the ladies were nice enough to let me wait for my dad (who decided to park himself instead of comming on the ride with me), so after being made to watch the vid, I went on the ride where 8 CM's were all waiting for me. I felt bad for holding the up, but the ring leader (or so it seamed) told me they were there til 9 and they had a lot to do to close the attraction so it wasnt a big deal. After I got to ride my FAVORITE ride in disney for the last time, I saw a funny CM pic. It makes me wonder what kinda ride photos the public is missing out on.....
-On tues we went to the contemp before going to MK b/c we wanted to check rates and aval for christmas time, the lady was nice enough to give us a price sheet but advised us to call the hotline. We then jumped on the monerail and waited ATLEAST 20 minutes while the monerail got stuck (which we then realized my dad left the tickets at the hotel). Already frustrated from the delay, we went down to go wait for a bus (MK all star busses at 9:30ish), after waiting ANOTHER 20 minutes and having NO all star bus come anywhere near us, we decided to bail. As you could have already guessed not the happiest thing to happen but def not the worst (that was reserved for my birthday thanks disney)
-Star Wars Jedi Acadamy REALLY turned my crappy birthday from suck to amazing. Darth Vader was a ELITE in the way he delt with crazy little kids. Just thinking about it cracks me up. The kids they picked that day (5/2....12:40pm SWJA i THINK) had something SERIOUSLY wrong with them (even the CM said "wow we have some interesting padawons today" or something to that effect). They had NO CLUE what was going on, but that wasnt the funniest part, vader took that slot. After he came out, he delivered some SW lines and the CM trainer uttered back even cornier lines and then the kids got to fight vader. One suger infused rug rat decided to do every lightsaber swing while jumping at darth himself. After the final blow, the child felt this wasnt enough, it was his duty to vanguish the dark lord. With this he attempted to slay darth vader once more.........and vader was having NONE of it that day. Before the kid knew what happened, darth yanked the saber from the childs grasp and then flung the saber past the crowd of kids, letting them know who he was. Another girl tried to step up and take a swing, but vader simply swatter her saber away so hard, it flung from her hand. Another child was instructed to force push two storm troopers who were pointing there blasters at him. After both the CM showing AND physically picking up the childs hand and showing him how to force push, the blank minded child just staired. This is when the CM did a ferocious force push himself, hurling the stormtroopers back. The stormtroopers got back into place and readied themselves for the now knowledgable kid to give them the final force push. Once again, the kid just looked at them with a mind numbed stair before being ushered back into the line. I havent laughed that hard in a long LONG time
-On ToT a little girl, who was origonally fine with riding ToT, decided that when the elevator moved vertical, she was having none of it. Screaming "Let me out I wanna get out let me out" to which I replied, "You dont wanna get out here....trust me" When the first drop when down (pun intended) the girl gripped the cage like a cat sinking it's claws into an island over water. With fear gripping her face, no one could hold back. Turning around to the last row to view, MANY members of the elevator couldn't help but roll in laughter. This poor little girl was truely a sight to behold.
-My cloudberry horn was amazing
-How do i get stuck with TWO bad crews for mission space mission control? when a level appears and I have NONE of my color, but I finish before someone who has had 4 of there color from the START....there REALLY is something wrong. I think I put in more of other colors then my own!
-I tried to scare a girl on mission space by replying to her question of "Is this ride scary?" with "Well only a couple people have died on it." She said shut up and the boy she was with started laughing......if only they knew how serious I was.
-I didnt do SSE this time b/c i came from the world gate....shame on me!
-Cloudberry horns are amazing. I'm thinking of going to Norway to get a hot norgian wife that can make one (how come theres no eating face, but theres a regergitating face :shrug. Seriously though, how come everytime I ride on the malstrum there are really hot blonde workers? Is norway's girls REALLY that close to sweden?
-All star did an AMAZING thing for my Bday that POP has never done. Not only a birthday card, and X percent offa photo pass and a birthday cake (made out of towels lol), BUT also a free hopper pass good for 4 days! Forget POP's wider spaces, they awknoledging my B-day AND hot girls in the music pool, im sold (then again i stayed at sports where everyone in the pool was under 10 :brick
-The waiter at espn zone being AWSOME and the ONLY one to hook me up on my bday (free cake) even though I wore the pin during the days i wasnt in the park, he was the only one to actually see it and say/do something. But he was a great waiter reguardless so that's prob y he was so aware, but it was actually the only place in dis i DIDNT think they would do something for my bday....funny how things work out. Unfortunatly after the app meal AND desert I was so full I didnt eat for the rest of the day lol
-we had an awsome photo on TT but didnt buy itcry ofcourse rides with my dad that could maybe get a pic, weird people in the pic, when im alone, hot girls are ALWAYS sitting next to me and they play the part perfectly (looking scared and all b/c i always fake it too just in case someones getting a photo). Him n I always have that weird dude whose falling asleep or the lady thats looking off at god only knows what. I cant ever win...
-props to the PW CM who tried to give a kid a high 5 3x.....who tried to bite him EVERYTIME without fail. Atleast the CM was trying lol
-im glad I barely got wet on Kali AND SM (and i was front left too!), too bad my dad got soaked (idk how that happened). He wanted me to get on Kali again and roll the revolver, but I wasnt gonna play that game. Is it just me or did they tone it down? There wasnt as much splash as the last time, i remember EVERYONE being drenched head to toe, but my right sleeve was the only thing even touched on kali.
-The DAK jungle trek (sorry its really late and we got back tonight), the one with the poachers. Is it longer then before? It seamed like it got an extension and what the hell is up with the buzzards? Also I felt bad for my CM, we saw a dude drive onto the 'african plain' (the one with the termite hills) and I said (way before it was introduced), "IT'S A POACHER!!" to which she said no and explained what the guy was, but other people insisted it was a poacher. Sure enough the poacher part came on and the dude behind me was like "YEAH, he was right, it was a poacher!" ......and I heard the baby elephant is real too....
-on the furthest bridge west in DAK they REALLY need to do something with the lake area, it's filthy, barren, and REALLY unsightly.
-The secret door in the boneyard i totally dont get, but it was still worth hearing a couple lines.
-I gotta give it up to the CM's. About 5 years or so ago, I just remember then barely looking at you, having attitudes, down right undisneyish. And even looking back at some old ride videos, the CM's were seen and not heard. But this trip (and the last one too) the CM's were BEYOND friendly and really made the trip EXTRA special. I hope disney keeps getting whoever they're getting b/c it's working in my eyes. On a slightly related note (to which im going to get blasted on), I've noticed theres a lot more asians and a lot less blacks (i dont say african american b/c if your not born in africa your an american not some sir name, and i dont wanna say any of the n words b/c thats disrespectful) working at disney. I remember one time a manager walked up to these people working in the kitchen and one kid was running his mouth and not talking, while the other two ladies across from him were shoveling out food left and right. The boss had to offer the kid an extra day off JUST SO THAT HE WOULD DO HIS JOB! He told the kid if he could do w/e faster then the lady across from him, he would get a day off. I was in my early teens, but STILL i couldnt get that. He was getting paid right? Seriously how lazy can you be. I was thinking disney was doomed starting then but they've really had an upswing above and beyond what i remember being 'disneys best'.
-and finally the thing that started off my first day HORRIBLY. I went up to the counter to go get my birthday card. Now I had to go and PAY to take my final eairly JUST to get to disney on my birthday (driving 45 minutes to school on a day i didnt have class bla bla bla). So needless to say I was ready to get my $75 birthday fun card. So my dad gave my the card we got at check in (b/c i told him i had to have a pass into the parks in order to get the $75 fun card as well as the recept I printed off the net). So he waited in the shade while i waited in the long line. FINALLY i get up to the window (which i knew a head of time would cause me trouble b/c the lady ahead of me had a problem with this crabby dusty CM). So i go up to the window, of course happy to get my card we made a vacation for and i give her all of what she asks for. she then tells me i cant get it because i have the free hopper i got at check in but not a idk other pass. So my dad sees im having trouble and walks up with our bag of passes (we had 10 day hopper plus passes that we bought before our trip) and we show her that we have those. she rolls her eyes and walks to the back, going on and off a phone then saying that we cant do it b/c we showed her another pass first and that we have to use that free pass that day and that the only thing she'll give me is a free enterance into the park, but since i've already got a pass i have to use that. so then i asked her "so basically i get nothing?" and she said "basically" to which i walked off ed. She acted like it was comming out of her pocket and she knew everything that happened (i explained it all to her even though her facial expressions showed she DIDNT wanna hear it nor be at disney that day) but STILL gave me an attitude and didnt give me fastpasses OR the $75 fun card. My dad was much more calm then I was (which was strange b/c i usually dont care about anything n hes the one that if he sits down for more then a minute and no waiter we leave) and he just said he would write disney when we got back. And i was like omg lets make it a totally nasty letter saying this and that (obviously i was perturbed on my birthday.....probably making it a TERRIBLE day for my poor dad) and he was like no we're just gonna tell them the situation and see what they say. On the way home I just started thinking, with the couple of things that happened to us, we should get a ton since a guy who stayed at WL complained about there not being a coffee maker and a continental breakfast (lol) got 4 free 4 day hoppers and some other stuff ish. I know there are people on both sides i just wanna know what everyone things about not getting the $75 fun card on my bday (and i wanted pins too
....well i ended up getting almost $100 in pins, i just didnt get the monerail pins i wanted to get so that i could connect them all up and it would look madd cool in my pin book.

I just got back from celebrating my friend's birthday at POR from the 5 thru today and all she got was the card with 20% off photopass.
