Darkwing Duck M&G Sighting

I was at WDW with my BFF in January and we were randomly riding the train from Adventureland to Mickey's Toontown Fair and spotted Darkwing Duck and Launchpad McQuack from the train. My BFF screamed "Oh my God it's Darkwing Duck!!!" from the train and bolted over to him. It was pretty hillarious...seeing as we are 24 years old. But he was her fave Saturday morning cartoon so.

I loved Darkwing Duck when I was younger, never saw him though....have seen Launchpad a couple of times but not DD. I'll have to spend more time in ToonTown when I go back.

Mid-October this year we were lucky enough to spot DD and Launchpad as our train pulled into Toontown -

So this tear drop that everyone talks about in toon town is near the train station? Sorry if this is a really dumb question.

Here's the "Teardrop":

It's around the back of the Judge's Tent. Most people miss it because it's so out of the way, unless you spot characters as you arrive on the train or as you leave the Judge's Tent. I believe this is also where the designated smoking area is for Toontown Fair.

Thanks for the news. Darkwing Duck used to be one my favorites! I never got to meet him but I think I remember seeing a show in Mickey's Starland that he was in. Does anyone else remember that or am i crazy (or both)?

Oh, but that my dear is the sort of magic that keeps me going back to WDW time and time again. It's so much fun to see that inner child come through all the layers of maturity, responsibility and plain old boring adulthood. Maggie

I don't think Launchpad McQuack is appearing at AK on a normal basis. I didn't see him in October. Gov. Ratcliffe was out though

I got to meet launchpad last year at the tear drop too. there were several characters there. In particular was Prince John and I was so excited to meet him. However he must have been a trainee because he totally smacked me in the head with his crown!

I completely agree Maggie! WDW is one of the only places I can completely check out of all the adult stuff and just have fun, like when I was young.
