Lol...I got barred from the d23 thread....for “liking” posts. No posts.

Lol...I see that we aren’t happy in the magic kingdom today.

Anyone that wants to discuss the simple reality of no new country pavilions...let me know 😉

I don't imagine too happy here are happy, either. All we got was a stupid parade that we've known about for months.

I like the Runaway Railway ride coming to Toontown. It should provide something more worthwhile to do than just Roger Rabbit.

I have no idea where it's going, exactly, though. The area looks too spacious for the Gag Factory area. Given the green hills back there, I would say it's either in the City Hall space or even Mickey's House. I hope it's not the latter.

Wait... You're right. That's ALL that was announced for the Disneyland resort. YIKES. omg... Well, we did get confirmation of the Marvel Land Avengers Camp. And a Phase II ride that wont happen for 4 or 5 years.

At least the Space 220 restaurant looks cool. A good homage to both Flight to the Moon and Space Station X1. Should be brought to Tomorrowland here.

It would be a very appropriate thing to make the restaurant in the Mission to the Moon/Mars footprint this type of space themed restaurant in a Tomorrowpand makeover. I wouldn't even care if it was a clone of EPCOT's.

It's a Patina restaurant. Up to this point Patina has zero presence inside DLR parks. Maybe that will change?

You locals are savage lol.

Maybe it’s because I only travel to Disneyland once a year, but the new stuff sucking doesn’t bother me that much. Because I go for the classic stuff generally and it keeps me satisfied every time.

But I get it, I guess... if you’ve rode Pirates or Splash Mountain 100 times, I guess the appetite for new, high quality attractions might be greater. The Spider-Man ride does sound pretty damn mediocre, but is it really much worse than anything at A Bug’s Land?

I knew it.
Disneyland gets a crappy new parade and that's it. Probably because Galaxy's Edge "flopped" here and they don't want to invest anymore.
I'm gonna rage.

They just dropped a BILLION dollars on Star Wars Land. They have to take a breath. Besides, DL's getting a big innovative Avengers E-ticket soon.

I suspect new Tomorrowland plans are still in flux. There's a new ride in January (ROTR), a new land with a new ride, restaurant and "experience" in 2020 (Avengers Campus, Spider-Man, Pyms, Doctor Strange), a new ride in 2022 (MMRR), and a new ride in 2022/23 (Avengers). They'll need something to promote for 2024-26 or so, and new Tomorrowland/East Fantasyland seems the most obvious.

The only other major redevelopment option is the Hollywood backlot in DCA, but that seems contingent on the Eastern Gateway project and the ability to expand DCA out into the bus depot footprint.
