Thanks for posting that link. Looks like it is going to be an incredible event for those lucky enough to attend.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but I think the fact that they are making the Disney Legends ceremony a public event is really cool.

That is cool to see not just the ceremony but the people, who really are legends. I'm glad to see Robin Williams in there!

I also like how the Mupetts have their own event. Good to see they finally are going to do something!:sohappy:

Look at Page 5 of that guide! Walt Disney Parks and Resorts has a HUGE exhibit space.

I attend events at the Anaheim Convention Center regularly, and the three exhibit halls they have combined for D23 are massive. But I'm amazed that Parks & Resorts is taking up just over half of Hall B!

That is going to be a giant, unprecedented display of current and future Parks & Resorts projects! I'm going on Friday, and I can't wait! I was originally only going to spend a couple hours at this thing, but now I may need the whole day.

I'm thinking the Hatbox Ghost announcement's probably going to be during the Mansion session on Friday as opposed to the main park one.

Also, I'm hoping they drop a huge bombshell for Epcot fans during that parks session. I shouldn't have to explain what I mean here...

Thanks for posting this- what an amazing event! I wish they would have one in Orlando soon!

It's booked at the Anaheim Convention Center every September through 2012.

But judging by the huge turnout of Disney divisions not related to theme parks, all centered in Burbank or North Hollywood, I don't think you could ever get such a massive turnout way out in Florida.

An event on the scale of D23 Expo needs the Disney corporate critical mass that only exists in Southern California. It would never happen out in Orlando.

I am hoping at least half goes to WDW. Paris & Tokyo are fine & don't need anymore green. :lookaroun:lol:

All info thus far points to not much of anything on display at D23 Expo for WDW, except for the Star Tours 2.0 clone of course.

Disney has said that large models of the new rides and expansion land coming to DCA in 2010-12 will be on display at D23 Expo, so there's a big chunk of the exhibit space.

Hall B is 150,000 square feet, and Disney Parks takes up half of that. 75,000 square feet is the size of a large, modern supermarket in the suburbs. That's a big display about theme parks!

I'm only hoping there will be enough WDW fans there to scream questions to Rasulo about FL.

After he's done with his teleprompted presentation, of course. I wouldn't want us American-car-driving, WDW fans to appear impolite.
