Unfortunately not for the footage. They’ll release presumably a trailer or teaser or two publically. Photos are allowed of slides, but not recordings for the video.

Theoretically it could leak in part but honestly the staff are militant and patrolling.

Absolutely do not expect a live stream from someone in the audience.

The parks panel though should be fully streamed tomorrow.
Well thanks, at least I'll be able to watch the parks one, that's the one I'm most excited about hehehe

I think you're making a different argument.

Figment was absolutely the star in terms of being the featured character that sold merchandise, but that's not what I meant. They could take the Figment design and turn it into a different character that looked the same, but the original childlike version needs Dreamfinder (or someone else) as a guide for the character to work well in a story context.
He's the guy flying the balloon-thing. Figment is the point of the show. The ride is about the figment of your imagination.

I don't have a problem with Dreamfinder coming back, and I agree the current version w/ Nigel is annoying.
Is Figment fun on his own? It's a PURPLE DRAGON of course it is. Dreamfinder is great too, really spruces him up, but purple dragon.
Bingo.

No, I didn’t.

I mentioned what “can’t handle the seasoning” means. If I wanted to call someone racist, I’d use that exact word.

No, I don’t want to take a poll, but you’re welcome to. Create one.
So, here's my take on why @CaptainAmerica felt as he did...

There have been many times where singers of color have sung the national anthem with their own embellishments. Those embellishments are not appreciated by some people of different backgrounds. This version, had a similar soulful embellishment. And I believe it was done on purpose (not a bad thing, but it's not by accident).

So, for you to say that "he can't handle the seasoning," could mean that has a bias against embellishment by a woman of color.

If Halle insists on “embellishing” every line, it will indeed get tedious quite quickly. Let’s hope she only feels a need to showcase her vocal talents a few times and otherwise sticks to the original pacing. We don’t need to double the length of every song. No one will want to be a part of her world.

Give Figment a brother, named Fragment. Build a new Camp Discovery rope course with intertwining River Rapids ride like they have in Shanghai and use Fragment in the final scare scene of the RR like they do in Shanghai

Actually…the dream finder was the story teller and figment was the prop as I recall?

But it has been 25 years.

They awful bandaid ride with Eric idle tried to “recreate that”…but failed

The reality is this: they could install the or original ride - right now with 1980 tech - and get loyalists to mob the place for 30 years…hour + waits and merchandise flying.

…it’s the first thing I’ll do when I take TWDC private 😎

Yes, like a ventriloquist. But you are there for the puppet.

Figment is the embodiment, or personification, of imagination. Dreamfinder is the narrator, etc.

Water rides are more trouble than they’re worth…even in a place that feels like Venus…

You have to go “total concept” like the competitors do and Disney once excelled at

I get your point…but adults focus on the performer…

And any future of the imagination pavilion would have to be geared around classic nostalgia…

They aren’t gonna “wow” a 9 year old anymore with the tools they use all day, everyday…

You just have to expose them and let their “fondness” grow in early adulthood.

Right. She sings it more soulfully, with a bit more oomph than the original, hence why I used the AAVE expression. I have clarified what it actually means. It means the extra oomph isn’t liked, that oomph, in this case, being the run.

Anyone who’s followed my posts knows that I’m not afraid to call out racism. No one is racist for not liking a run. I’ve clarified many times. This is the last time. :)

It's like a Pixar movie... the language is for the adults, and the visuals/action is for the kids.

I don't expect any update to Figment, beyond maintenance. They sell so much merch, that Bob probably thinks it's a great pavilion as is. Unfortunately.
