Well that was a whole lot of nothing, was hoping for Disneyland Paris news but didn't get anything

Avengers Campus and Hotel New York were mentioned, but only details on the Spider-Man ride were new.

I'm really banking on them not announcing Brazil due to the current events with the Amazon.........Mary poppins is way more than a carousel which I did not expect. I guess it'll be a dark ride?

I absolutely agree. Disney Studios is very well run and the MCU is a mind boggling achievement.

What’s odd is how little of that competence translates to the running of the parks.

Well, it's often a benefit when you have a single visionary person in command who is there because they LOVE what they're doing. It's also very rare. Say what you will about Iger, but he was smart enough to give Feige the run of the place. (And Lasseter too, before everything went down.)

And they need to fire whoever comes up with the names for many of these things. Dreamers Point is fine. Wondrous China? Cosmic Rewind? HarmonioUS (is that a show on NBC?) ....

Minus the Brazil announcement or non-announcement, this is pretty much what I expected. We knew actual parks updates would be Epcot heavy. The poppins segment gave me hope of an actual dark ride.

Not a single announcement at any of the parks around the world besides Epcot. Everything said was stuff we already knew.

I thought it was just me thinking this was a rather lackluster presentation.
Even the audience seemed kinda mellow, based on the reactions i heard during the live webstream(s).
