I too am very glad they started from scratch, although I feel horribly for anyone who missed them this time and had ordered successfully this morning.
I am at a loss as to why they can’t get their acts together. Part of it is to some extent they simply don’t care; if they did, they would have fixed the overselling issues over a decade and several servers and website redesigns ago. Errors happen with every website, but they happen on ShopDisney far too frequently. Beyond that, it is almost as if they actively search for new and unusual ways to botch things and make their customers miserable. That’s certainly an interesting PR and customer service strategy.
