D23: DTD Discounts only for Disneyland

Disappointing, Downtown Disney discount at the US parks might of been nice, specially at WDW but Disneyland only? Phooey, you practically have to be living in California to get moneys worth out of D23 it would seem...

If so, a shame. These are the types of things that would make D23 VERY worth while... I initially thought the value was better than that.

Very important, and yes, it does highly discount the progress I thought that D23 had made on the issue of tiered memberships and value, for WDW at least. DL continues to reap the best of the company, on both new attractions and D23! :lol:

Yeah, I was excited to see the ESPN Perk...It's on the D64 FB page, even, and it does add worth.

But yeah, they are REALLY missing the mark on the DL Fan Demographic. :lol:

Good question. I would guess it's a "synergy" thing and P&R is involved in the decision. But it's just a guess.

So what's the point for WDW D23 fans? Just the magazines? They said last year that the D23 convention would be at DLR for the next few years and now no discounts for WDW's DTD... If I lived in Cali then maybe I can see the need to renew my membership, but since in live in Florida, I just don't see any value any more.... :shrug:
