I predict they will announce they are going to correct their egregious error of not being able to walk up the Falcon Ramp and shut down smuggler's run so they can reopen it in 2020 with a ramp you can use that is ADA compliant

Just my two cents about the whole "Mr. Toad getting closed" thing... I don't think it should be closed, but to be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if they did get rid of it. If they're seriously considering gutting the Country Bears again...

No. Because:
1) Mr. Toad is a popular and much-beloved ride.
2) It makes great use of a tiny space
3) It's built underneath the Alice dark ride. It wouldn't be worth messing with, since BOTH rides are very popular.
4) Toad Hall is one of the best-looking and most-photographed sights in Fantasyland.

The only thing I’m expecting is an update on Marvel Land with more details about the Spider-Man Attraction. And possibly more info about a Toontown overhaul including more information about MMRR.

What I’m HOPING for is:
-Fantasyland expansion
-Tomorrowland overhaul
-Pixar Pier phase 2 that would bulldoze the tacky spinners and Goofy’s to be replaced by a legitimate dark ride (Coco!)
-Hollywoodland overhaul

It's still too early in the summer for this, and I reserve the right to change this list before August, but I'll play...

My easy predictions announced for Disneyland Resort at D23 Expo this year! In no particular order;
  • A full reveal of DCA's Marvel Land, including the actual name and fleshing out the Spiderman attraction, Hank Pym Ant Man micro-brewery, the inevitable upcharge merchandise "Immersive Experience!", etc.. This will also include a creative overview of the new Spiderman ride coming to DCA Marvel Land, with some artwork of the vehicles in action, etc.
  • A reveal of how Mickey's Runaway Railway will integrate into Toontown, including artwork of the facade and what the queue and pre-show will be themed to instead of the Chinese Theater at DHS.
  • Announcement of the rumored Magic Happens daytime parade for Disneyland that another website is talking about.
After those three easy ones, there are a couple of long-shot predictions they could surprise us with;
  • Announcement that the supper club restaurant is being added back to Star Wars Land in the open plot of land behind the Cantina where it was supposed to go, opening in late 2021.
  • New DTD tenants for the abandoned warehouse buildings on the western side of DTD; AMC Theaters, Rainforest Cafe, ESPNZone.
Also, it's pretty evident now that the Resistance ride won't be open by D23 Expo, so maybe Mr. Chapek will announce the opening timeframe finally to avoid complete embarrassment? Mid October? Thanksgiving? Christmas?

I also predict that without a drunk creative executive on stage with him this time, Mr. Chapek will be awkwardly corporate and disingenuous with the audience as he fakes enthusiasm for Disney theme parks and does the 'Fun Upbeat Energy!' version of himself that he practiced with his speech coach. His communications team will also still put the words "Immersive", "Engaging" and "Experience" into his script.

I also predict his Bob name tag that he only wears at these public dog and pony shows will be ever-so-slightly crooked and/or placed slightly too low on the lapel of his sport coat. :rolleyes:

The other stuff in the Disneyland Resort pipeline, like a New Tomorrowland, DCA Avengers E Ticket, Eastern Gateway 2.0, Fantasyland expansion, all seem too dependent on the Eastern Gateway 2.0 and thus dependent on the still thawing relationship with Anaheim's City Hall. Movement on Eastern Gateway 2.0 should begin this fall according to @Darkbeer1, but that's a few weeks after D23 Expo ends. Most of that stuff will need to wait until D23 Expo '21 most likely.

That's a good lineup even if a lot of it we already know. I'm still hoping for a "One more thing" moment.

So any new news coming out of the nice neighbor lady. She's be rather quiet since the beginning of the year.....
