Galactic Muppetcruiser?

Hear me out. The muppets LARP as star wars characters with you. Think Muppet Carol but with star wars. Gold mine.
We suggested this as a joke on our "What to do with the Muppets" podcast. Make it self referential about the failures of the Star cruiser.

More practical suggestions were removing the Mickey Shorts theater show and replacing that with a Muppets show, making them a DHS party exclusive series of characters, or changing Sci-Fi Dine In to Muppets Dine In.

Maybe muppet classic movie parodies play? That’d be fun. The muppets have potential for so much in Walt Disney World, so I hope whatever is poentially planned pulls through. I don’t get why they are taking so long to announce it, though. Mix of fear of backlash or dragging feet.

The art shows a straight-away to the finish line.
A straight away to the finish line (the rides finale) in my mind a no brainer, a la test track.
They could program it such that the winner is random, sometimes left lane, sometimes right lane.

I imagine they launch two carts at a time side by side, leaving space between launches and each pair battle it out through the course at a slower speed then at the final straight away, open it up, and go the fastest at the end for a thril.

In the beginning of the course I don’t imagine the cars going fast, going too fast through the twists and turns would be uncomfortable for the riders. I imagine up until the final straight away it will be no more intense than test track up until they open it up on the outdoor track there.

This will be an outdoor version of test track with a racing theme instead of a testing theme.

Well we all know how well Test Track does in inclement weather.....Making me wonder why this would be the attraction the HAS to be in MK... instead of somethig they know can be ebjoyed in any weather scenario....

Love all these ideas! Especially muppets dine in. Plus they could announce the muppets are making their way across the street instead of leaving DHS

I am worried about this attraction operating reliability in WDW.

I do wonder if the Imagineers in California forget they are designing attractions for Florida.

No Muppets Dine In! Haha Let me see the original first. But yeah I can think of much better places to put the Muppets.

I think they're saving AC for Phase 2 of this 10-year plan. So we may not hear anything about it until 2028/2029.
So by that point, DHS wouldn't have had an increase in attractions after...15 years? After all the money they spent, I somehow spend less time in this park then I did 20 years ago. I don't even know how that's possible.

I don't think there's much chance they will re-theme it to Guardians since they already built Cosmic Rewind, but I wouldn't be surprised by a general re-theme.

This convention had a full standee photo-op of Tower of Terror to promote the park to Brazilians and be an incentive to book a visit

It isn't going anywhere

FYI, this is what I was referencing re: Ariana Grande...

I think when someone like Ariana Grande expresses concerns about Disney retheming or removing popular attractions on a podcast, you know the company has developed a reputation outside of the core fan base.
