I don't even have a good reason for think it's Pooh, it's more of a 'gut feeling' it'd be going soon? Once again, don't even have a good reason and it's more of a dark horse pick for me and would be frankly horrified if it DID leave.

Unless Pooh got a better ride. I'd like that.

The three 'controversial' attraction closures has me scratching my head and trying to figure out what can fit the bar of controversial and 'would make waves' outside of flagships like Tower of Terror, classics like Tiki Room and fandom favorites like Imagination.

HoP in this case just feels... Too obvious?
What else would they wanna rethemd that’d be popular? Buzz? RNRC? Something else?

Oh Pooh is a HUGE merch pusher, he's actively dethroned Pokémon in terms of revenue for franchises! I just think he's in a spot where he can easily be yoinked out? I don't really see Disney use Pooh anymore these days, but he still pushes merchandise.

Iger does love his merch, but the last time I went I was pressed to even find a plush Pooh...
I noticed they rotate them. When my 6 year old was 1.5 it was plush Piglet year and when my 3 year old was 1.5 it was Roo. Roo is adorable, but Disney merch is limited and inconsistent anyway!

I like it. Moana’s rainforest mountain thunder. With an exploding capibara. She is escaping atomic fallout from the testing in the Pacific 1950s. While looking for a magical bed and singing fish for a luau.

As for the three rides… think high capacity, low demand, and doesn’t move the LL needle.

They are targeting anything and everything that does not sell LL. More capacity works against their business model. It is now scarcity and popularity.
COP and HOP definitely fit that bill.

I’m honestly still hoping for some bean counters to count the beans and cancel this horrible decision.

Genuinely don’t know how families with small kids can do this park. I know it has tons of stage shows that can keep kids occupied, but at some point we need to get some more dark rides without height requirements in here.
It would have been cool if MuppetVision was repurposed into some sort of C to D ticket dark ride as part of the new land.

I have a friend on the Treasure now, doing the crossover. Says the Haunted Mansion bar is astounding, small, and might need reservations based on the popularity.
This makes sense to me. We love Hyperspace Lounge (I believe it’s the same floor plan) but it’s tiny, and on the early Wish sailings you had to get a reservation to try it out— hopefully it will be less of a nightmare than the 3 day sailings on Wish because they limited you to one reservation.

In case this is helpful to anyone: Hyperspace only allows kids in the afternoon, it’s adults only after about 5pm. If you’re on a Treasure sailing, as soon as you get to the port, connect to DCL WiFi and try to book yourself a reservation while you’re waiting to board.

I don't think those two fit the "controversial" role

RNRC is beloved by many and would certainly fit the controversial label, though I think most do expect to lose Aerosmith soon. It’s simply a matter of who the retheme is to.

Yawwwnnnn. Insiders constantly teasing stuff but rarely spilling the beans. Wrong more than they are right and/ or Disney changes the plans last second. And then when Disney does announce plans it’s a mixed bag or it’s something awful like the ROA getting replaced by a Cars ride. Suckling on the rumor mill teat for news that will most likely disappoint the majority of us. Then hanging onto every detail and little bits of news during construction for an end result that will also likely disappoint the majority of us. Gross cycle. Maybe this used to be fun when Disney was good at what they did?
Do you need a hug?
