Quick recap of last night. The more detailed version will be in the actual Trip Report that I'll never finish so don't worry
We headed back to MK to hit a few more attractions and then we caught a boat to WL for dinner. A restroom stop on the way out bumped me up to Shirley status. Is that still a thing,
@Tuvalu ? Or was Bathroom Shirley status
ever a thing? Either way, in the words of Jean-Luc Picard, "make it so".
Our timing was great. The water pageant started as soon as we disembarked. The captain slowed down for a few minutes so we could watch. It was awesome being so close.
We were headed to Geyser Point to try the "best burger on property" according to vloggers and lifestylers.
We also ordered the white cheddar bbq dip. Our server was great but the bartender and other waitress seemed like characters from Wanda Vision who were being forced to keep their head shoved up their rear end. We could see our waiter was frustrated by this but he powered thru and kept a smile on his face.
Back to the "best burger on property". The bison burger. Let me.begin by saying that we frequently visit Teds Montana Grill back home. They serve an AMAZING bison burger so our standards are high. The burger at Geyser Point was a disappointment in our opinion. It wasn't bad, but far from deserving of the title so many have given it. I'll take Crews Cup filet mignon burger ANY day over this. Granted, it was 945 pm but they close at 11 pm so its not as if the kitchen was about to close.
The white cheddar bbq dip was very good. Overall we enjoyed Geyser Point. Great atmosphere and good food. We just didn't feel the need to slap a world champion belt around the waist of the burger.
