One other thing to think about is the extreme cold. All the decorations have to be stored. Usually the temp is in the 60s and 70s so they can go right into boxes with no problem. Take dow a frozen ribbon and store it away for next year. What do you find when you go to put it up next year.....moldy ribbons.
Also working with intricate things in this cold with cold hands or mittens might result in broken decorations etc. so I say just give them a break and enjoy. I am hoping the decorations are still up on Thursday-my first day off. Unfortunately we had 2 deaths in the family between Thanksgiving and Christmas so I missed it all-including my birthday and wedding anniversary there and didn't get to Candlelite so just seeing the decorations would be great.
