Current Bouncebacks?

Just curious if anyone knew any of them. Going next month, and also in August of 2010. If there are good BB offers, may look at upgrading.

Also, do you have to actually wait until you are in Disney to book Bounceback?

Yes, you have to be checked in at your resort in order to book a bounceback. (the CM referred to it as a "return stay" offer, btw) I booked 2 bouncebacks when we were at the Poly last week. The offer in our room was for 40% off deluxe resorts or 45% off DVC villas for most of 2010. We booked the GF for 8 nights in April at a $1700 savings off of rack rate and booked Yacht Club for $204/night plus tax for 6 nights in July. There were very few black out dates. Around Easter was blacked out, a few days around July 4, Thanksgiving week, and Dec. 25-31. I think Columbus Day weekend and MLK/President's weekend might have been, too.

If you do not have the offer in your room, be sure to ask about it. It is definitely available.

Thanks! Man, that pains me. We're currently booked for 13 nights at Riverside but wanted to upgrade to the Yacht Club for August. At that rate we could definitely do it. Here's to hoping it will still be available 26 days from now!!!

If we have an existing reservation, will they allow us to modify and change the reservation with the bounceback offer and apply the funds from the original reservation?

Yes. They'll cancel the original and rebook it.

Follow Up Question

We just booked a bounceback for a week next December at PO-FQ. If we were to decide to upgrade to a deluxe resort, would they allow us to rebook at the bounceback rate even since we originally booked while we were there?

Yes. Once you have booked a bounceback, you can modify it at any time, provided there is availability at the resort you want to switch to.

I'm so bummed about this. We really want to stay at the Yacht Club, but every summer we go, there's never any good rates. If I was down there right now, I could get that rate booked and we could do it. My guess is they'll be long gone come next month.:(

Why do you think that? I checked alot of dates, and alot of different resorts, and everything I asked the CM to check was available w/the bounceback offer. Value season starts July 18th for the deluxe resorts, so you'll get the $204/night plus tax rate for standard view. Don't be bummed until you have a reason to be!

I was under the impression that the bounceback offers can change, and only a limited number of rooms are available. I sure hope you're right. At $204, we can do it. At the AAA rate of $287, for 13 nights, it's just a bit too much.

And just book SOMETHING for your bounceback while you are there, b/c you can always change and modify the reservation back at home. Once youre in the system for a bounceback, you're good to go.

For example:

We originally booked bounceback for 10/22 at Wilderness Lodge Courtyard View while currently staying at BoardWalk. I called yesterday, from here at home, and switched to Polynesian Lagoon View for check in on 10/21. Worked perfectly! Now we are set.

Are the bouncebacks only for 2010? For example, if I am there spring break 2010, can I book a bounceback for spring break 2011?

When I was there this past June the bounceback was for the remainder of 2009. I think you'll find the same thing when you go, it will be for the remainder of 2010.

If a room is available at the resort you want and it's coded for the bounceback offer than yes, you can switch resorts but you will have to pay the difference in price between the two hotels.

I've never heard of this. Are the bounce backs a recurring thing Disney offers to people staying at resorts? We're going in May 2010 and have thrown around the idea of going December 2010 as well. Is it likely we'd have such an offer in May?

OK

Here is a question

Can you change one bounceback into another.

I am booked on a free dining bounceback in Aug 2010

I think I would rather be booked on a discounted room bounceback (DDP is restrictive to me)

Can I change to the other bounceback?
