It could be fun though, but some things are better left as dreams! ;)

You may be right. I have mixed feelings about meets. I love all my huggles friends. But what if I didn't when I met them. Or worse, what if they didn't like me. It could be devastating. And it could ruin something that is really great just the way it is. :(

But, on the other hand, would I take the chance to meet some of you if I could? Probably. :)

My new (bought it in August) laptop bought the farm today, so I wont be around much till the guy who supposed to fix it comes to have a look at it.

August! Gosh, Katie, that sucks! Is it under warranty?

It is but I dont know whats going on with that, they've been less than helpful when it comes to fixing this machine so we took it to the geek squad at best buy today and someone is coming to (hopefully) fix it early in the week. The guy told me it could be one of two things, either the HD is bad or the system corrupted itself. Hopefully its the latter of the two cause that easier to deal with.

I feel basically the same way - what if they didn't like me?!!!

Face it, we're all a bunch of insecure introverts who live our lives on this board!

Wow! Either way it doesn't sound good! How could it corrupt itself?
Computers! Once you've had one you can't live without them. But living with them certainly comes with its share of headaches!

I'm not too sure how it does it but my last one did the same thing, twice. It was unsaveable due to that and its age. (I got it after I finished 8th grade and had it until last summer.) This looks like it can be saved since it will turn on and try to boot up, then it says the thus and such is corrupted or something to that affect. :brick:

Insecure introvert! Yes, that's me! :p

This afternoon, our dd's and their boyfriends were here for dinner. After dinner, the 6 of us got into a rather spirited and somewhat bawdy discussion about, of all things, underwear! As the conversation went on, it continued to get more and more outrageous. At one point I almost blurted out, "This sounds just like a huggles thread!" I bit my tongue and didn't say it. I didn't want to have to explain huggles. (As if there were an explanation!) This is my thing. My chance to be a slightly different me. Still a nice person (I really am!) but quicker to voice an opinion or poke fun. It's been great so far! :)

One day in my LA class, we had the weirdest discussion regarding.......sneezes. We talked about sneezing for probably a good half-hour. :lookaroun

Another day we were reading an essay on fall foliage. The essay mentioned that the leaves on the east of coast of the US and most of China have the best fall foliage. One girl blurts out, "There's trees in China?" Our teacher then asked her why she didn't think there were trees in China. She said she pictured China as a big city, and nothing else. It so happened that the next week one of the other teachers was going to China, so we asked her to take pictures of the trees so this girl would believe that there truly were trees in China. :lookaroun This girl also happens to be one of the smartest kids I have ever met.

To say the least, we have a very strange LA class. But it is so much fun! :lookaroun The class really does remind me of Huggles.

My Government class once spent a whole period talking about shooting cereal out ones nose, then about why you shouldnt put things up your nose, followed by one of the teacher's friends from school (whose a major leauge baseball player) who had to be rushed to the ER so a G.I. Joe could be cut out of his nose, to funny scars.

That's the thing about Huggles! We talk about anything and everything!
But, Freddy, even though your LA class reminds you of Huggles, you would probably have a hard time explaining Huggles to them. Would you even try?

Live is full of inane conversations! (A G.I. Joe?!!!) They can be fun!
So Huggles isn't all that strange.
We just take it to a whole other level!

I don't even try to explain it to my DH any more - he thinks I'm nuts anyway! :brick:

DH is just glad to have the TV to himself while I'm on here!
He wouldn't get Huggles. But that's okay. I wouldn't really want him to. Like I said, it's my thing.
