Not a lot....her fever is down, she didn't even get half her volume last night on her pump because she was retching, today we bagged Epcot in hopes that she will feel better and are running her pump today on formula with none of the additives in it (benecal and benefiber are normally added to her formula) we had to turn her volume down again, so she is down from 125 an hour to 80, sigh...it will take a while to build her back up again, I just hope she doesn't lose too much weight...the good news is that they are planning on delivering her wheelcahir today, so if we need to tomorrow, we can take her pump and keep her on it at WDW...
It is very rainy here, with thunder and lightning, I HATE thunder storms and they scare the dickens out of MJ.... oh and we have a tornado warning until 3 pm, sigh

Keep trying to get a hold of her doctor so you can get something for nausea/vomiting as you will probably need it when you try to advance her feedings back to normal. Do you think MJ will need a feeding tube in the long run because of her CP, or is there hope that she can learn to control the necessary muscles? What a strain on you guys!

MJ will almost certainly be tube fed for her entire life....If she had been born 50 years ago, she'd be dead most likely....
in addition to not having the muscle tone, etc... she is allergic to corn, which is in almost everything.....she has been tube fed since 15 months, they wanted to tube her earlier, but I said no....I didn't want to take away our bonding time, in retrospect, we should have done it earlier...

If it were me....I would call the Dr.'s office every 15 minutes until he/she talked to me. I find it unacceptable that you called the Dr. yesterday and they have not returned your call yet. I would definitely find another Pediatrician to take care of MJ's medical needs. This may be difficult, however, due to her multiple medical conditions.
Believe me....I know how stubborn doctors can be, but that does not excuse them from their responsibilities to their patients!!!!!:fork:

I just got my first photography contest taken care of! It really was a lot of work and now I see why Brad couldn't do it anymore. Plus, it probably took me twice as long b/c I had to figure out how to do it all...since this was my first time!
