normal is .9-1.4, I am at 1.6

I have a minor ear infection, and a minor tonsil infection.....I have been feeling dizzy lately, and think I may need glasses

That's not too significant. Sometimes infection itself can throw the body off kilter. You mentioned that you had problems with kidney stones before. Did you have your creatinine level checked after that episode? Was it slightly elevated then? Sometimes kidney stones (depending on where they were located) can cause minor damage to the "functional units" of the kidney and cause a slight increase in the creatinine. You really need to have more than one abnormal result before you worry too much.

What antibiotic are you taking?

Even a minor ear infection can cause dizziness.

P.S. If it's any consolation.....I think I may need some glasses for reading soon. My eyes have been playing tricks on me for the last couple of months.:(

Not too elevated and the infection can cause a rise.

Now about that dizziness... that can come from fluid in the ear and the infection. Be careful driving. Now as for those glasses... just get them. I know how you feel about them, but it may be time to just bite the bullet.

You're welcome, sweetie.

Brad, just get the glasses...I finally admitted I was doing a Mr. Magoo imitation, and it sure is nice to see where I'm going... And I hear ya on the water thing...I had a kidney stone back in 2002, and it was an AWFUL experience!

Thats good, but the vomiting needs to be controlled too. Hope he calls back soon.

Still no call back....I have her on her pump on water to try and keep her from getting dehydrated, I'll let you know if it makes her puke. :(

*sigh*

I really want to get the keyboard as my instrument in music (new semester started today), but 4 other people know how to play the piano. And they've all taken lessons. And they know how to read musical notation, etc... :(

I just hope we can have a sort of "dueling pianos" tomorrow. I've been practicing the Entertainer. :D

Well, I've been able to shake most of the lurgey I had. Feeling much improved - hope I've started a trend for MJ to pick up on

My nice new shiney bike let me down this evening - turned over but did not start. Could be a duff battery. Will have to get it checked out.

Afternoon HUGGLES to everyone.

This thread is like an episode from ER. Puking, dizziness, abnormal lab values and infections.

Seriously....get something for MJ's vomiting cause she will dehydrate in no time. Have you tried little amounts of Pedialyte down the G-tube (even if you have to mix it half-strength with water)? Atleast that way she can get back some of the electrolytes she is losing through vomiting. Just a suggestion. I hope she feels better soon!:)
