Because the sand is brown and mostly broken up shells. Not very comfortable. The water is also brown and gross. And since the hurricanes have gone through two years ago, the beach hasn't been flat anymore. It has a grade that's about as steep as EE's drop. That makes the waves really intense too. Sometimes its hard to stand up.

Heh.. well.. I guess the Jersey shore really does have great beaches... other than the fact some places get too crowded, and Wildwood's is too wide...

I mean, we do have good beaches here. I'm about 20 minutes south of Cocoa Beach, which is surf capital of lots of places. But the west coast really has the better beaches. The sand is blindingly white and finer than powder. Mt great-grandma has a condo in Sarasota on Siesta Key (which was one of the top 10 beaches of the world on the Travel Channel).

Don't worry Dot and Connor, I haven't lost my mind. Someone's light was showing (I don't remember who's :lookaroun :lol: ) and I had to tell them to examine their light. :lookaroun :lol:

Sorry, Dot. I guess my light was acting up, because I did leave very shortly after huggling. I most certainly would have huggled you if I had been here. So some lots of late *huggles* for you. :kiss: We defintley need to have a nice chat soon!
