My grandma says "warsh" instead of "wash". But other than that, no butchering here.

On the other side of the family, my grandmom does all kinds of things in an odd way...

Maybe that's where I get my eccentricity from... :lookaroun

Plus, sometimes she mutters things in german... :lookaroun

Must be difficult considering the state's name starts with one... :lookaroun
Actually it's OK if it falls in the beginning of a word, or if a word doesn't have one, you can always add it in, but for the most part, the letter "R" is strictly taboo.

It's pronounced "youz..." and it drives me crazy...

My husband actually asked me how to spell "yous" just yesterday!
After I recovered, he told me he was using it as a slang term in something he was writing.

If I was your grandmom, I'd be doing a lot of muttering!

My grandparents are from South Philadelphia.
It goes without saying I've heard my fair share of butchered English.
Then again, I imagine the Brits probably think that of us...
English get butchered by Britons too. I have a fair mix of background variations on English, my Dad is from London, and my Mother is from Scotland born to Irish parents. And right now I have a Welsh girlfriend. I have the whole British Isles set!

So... I wonder who actually speaks English the right way...
Couldn't be those Australlians... could it? :lookaroun
