Crystal Palace question

I was able to set an 8:05 AM reservation for 9/19/09:sohappy: surprisingly last night. The question I have is where do we go to get into the park early (we plan on getting to the park around 7:45 to get to the restaurant and take some pics)?

What you will do is head over to the turnstiles on the far right. You will notice some signage for character breakfasts. A CM will check a list to make sure that you have an ADR and then let you in.

They will let everyone in at about 7:45 at that turnstile. We waited at the end of that line and let the crowd (probably only about 25 people) get ahead of us, and then went in. This meant we got an amazing picture of my daughter in the middle of Main Street USA with the castle in the background, and there is not a single other human being in the picture. It is definitely the only way to get a picture like that one, and I love it....

Oh, and the breakfast is really good too...

We have in the past found the CM with a clipboard, who lets guests in early for early reservations, to be over on the left.

It is possible. I have always seen them right next to the guest services window and stroller rental on the right.

We have found the line to be on the right too. But you can always ask one of the CMs where you can get in for reservations.

We have always been told to have our confirmation number handy for them to check, but we've never been checked yet. They just wave us in. Maybe it's because we usually go at less busy times.

Our line was on the right. But any CM you ask will point you in the direction of where the line is that day. I have also never been asked for my confirmation number, but always keep it on hand just in case.

8:05 is the best reservation! Sometimes you get done before the 9:00 park open too and can wait at the inside rope drops with just a few people. I got some great pictures of an empty Fantasyland doing that. Really great breakfast at CP too, one of my favorites. Have a great time!

This is good information! My DH and I have our first ADR for Crystal Palace next month at 8:05 am and cannot wait! I keep hearing wonderful things about it!
