2. What is the procedure for getting through the gates?
3. Lastly, what is the best (quickest) way to travel from Saratoga Springs Resort to make it in time for our reservation?

1. I believe they start at 8 am
2. For getting in, they have a list of names with reservations
3. I am not sure, as I am not staying there. But resort buses go right to the front of MK.

What time do the buses start running, i called and got an 8:05am reservation for august 21st. I also noticed this is an Extra Magic hours day, will that effect transportation.

The buses start running early enough to accomodate everyone with morning reservations. Do you mean that it is an am emh? It still shouldn't affect the buses. As far as getting in the gates, we always have our reservation number handy in case it needs to be checked, but we have never had to do this. They have a turnstyle open for people with morning reservations and they don't seem to check you just pass through.

"Early Morning Character Breakfast Transportation

Early morning character breakfast transportation for resort guests with a dine reservation at a Walt Disney World theme park or resort location is available. It is always advantageous for guests to tell the driver that they are going to a Character Breakfast.

Guest should be at the designated bus loading zone 45 minutes prior to seating time.

Guests traveling to a theme park location should proceed to the load zone designated for that theme park and board the bus with that theme park location on the marquee.

Guests traveling to the Grand Floridian, Polynesian or Contemporary Resorts should proceed to the Magic Kingdom load zone and board the Magic Kingdom bus. Monorail service is also available beginning at 7:00am.

Guests traveling to the Beach Club may proceed to the Disney-MGM Studios load zone and board the Disney-MGM Studios bus. From the Disney-MGM Studios they can board the water launch to the Beach Club.

Guests traveling from a resort to another resort for a character breakfast after park opening should take the normal route using a theme park as a transfer hub, if appropriate."

2. You have to have an ADR in order to get past the gates. Call 407-WDW-DINE to book your ADR.
3. Either bus or boat...not sure.
