Cruising a hurricane? No Big! Oct 20-27, 2012

As I finally have some spare time, I can get started on my TR (yay!). Hopefully it won't take too long to get it completed. Fasten your seatbelts, and here we go!

Cast of characters:
Me- Not much to say about myself. I live in Orlando, and love it. This will be my second cruise (sailed on the Dream in Feb, and loved it so much I booked this cruise).

Stephanie- my sister. She's 3 years younger then me, and lives in New York state (she's a nurse). This will be her first cruise

Jenny and Travis- friends of mine who also live in Orlando. When I found out we were on the same cruise, me and Jenny got our reservations linked so we could eat together. We also ran into each other a lot during the cruise

Since you live in Orlando, what is the weather like in October? We live in Mississippi and plan on visiting sometime between September - early December. I will be traveling with my husband, 2 year old daughter and mother. I'd like to avoid the extreme heat/humidity.

Oct is usually pretty warm, but not as warm as the summer

Day 2: Sun, Oct 21

Woke up, and had breakfast in Cabanas. I met Mickey, Chip and Dale in the Atrium. Then I went to the Disney Animation class (we drew Mickey and Donald). After the class, I went back to the Atrium and met Minnie, Goofy, and Donald. While there, I watched the baby diaper dash (which was really cute). There were 3 babies, and the little girl won. After lunch, I went to a juggling workshop (which was a LOT harder then it looked). The instructor was really nice. I was able to get 2 balls going, but I wasn't able to get 3. Then at the end of the class, the instructor called me up on the stage as a volunteer. It wasn't too bad, although I almost hit him in the face with a ball. Oops! From there, I went to Ultimate Disney Trivia (where I met Jenny and Travis). We got 13 of 25 questions right. Then came Disney Tune Trivia, where we did a lot better (42 of 45 questions right). We came in second place behind a newlywed couple, who had 44. After trivia, met Chip and Dale in their tuxes, then got changed for dinner. Met Mickey (captain suit) and Minnie (harem girl) before the show. That night's show was Aladdin, and I really enjoyed it! Then went to meet Minnie in her 20s dress before dinner. Dinner was tomato soup, steak with baked potato, and chocolate torte/fruit tart for dessert. Saw the family ventriloquism show before dinner, and the adult juggling show after dinner with Steph, Jenny and Travis. After the show, went to bed
