Cruise Help

We are looking at taking a cruise in March/April 2011. I would love to do a 7 night cruise but it just is not possible right now. So we are looking at a 3 or 4 night cruise. We will have our 2 yr old twins with us.

For those of you that have done them? Which do you prefer to do?

Do you mean between a three and four night? Definitely four. You barely have time to settle in in a three night. Having a day at sea gives you time to relax and enjoy the ship.:)

As long a cruise as you can afford

If you have to make a choice between a short cruise with verandah or a longer cruise with a porthole, take the long cruise.

Downgrading to an inside stateroom, thats questionable. But all other things considered, length of the cruise is about the most important factor.

This. If you can possibly afford the four-night over the three-night, you should take it. Like was previously said, it seems like as soon as I've moved in on the three-night, it's almost time to get off. Amazing what a difference the extra day makes.

We were also considering a 3 night cruise in May. This would be our first ever cruise. We're going to split it between cruise and WDW. Just hope seas are calm.

I am thinking if we do it we are going to go for a 4 night. i know going in march/april leads to the crowds like crazy but we can't go any earlier and we are trying to tie a cruise with the parks so it seems like the only time that will fit into our schedule. But then again I am think of possibly waiting and doing a 7 night at the end of the year depending on DH's schedule.

I was pricing out 4 night cruises yesterday for March and April, and there was actually one in March (March 20 I believe) and one in April (I think it was the 10th) that were priced great for that time frame.:)

Dang girl! Y'all be the high-rolla's now! LOL! J/K! Adopt me! I'll be your kid! And I'm potty-trained!!! LOL!

To coordinate a cruise w/WDW, etc. I'd suggest emailing Tammy w/KK. She's quite the experienced cruiser aaaaand I think she's military so she'll be able to grasp all the nuances y'all are working with. :animwink:

Haha I wish. You know how well we are paid...lol I will only adopt you to come along if you take care of 2yr old twins in the process

I have emailed her and she has been a huge help. I am just trying to figure it all out and get other opinions. We are also dealing with Sean changing commands in the fall so we can't make def plans until we know for certain what all it will entail

When's a good time to call (don't wanna wake sleeping babies & disturb the peace of the momma)?? I need to get caught up with what's what on the commands-n-such. Tracey's been askin' me and I'm clueless. LOL!
