I concur.
However, is it the sound system or the original recording that is bad? I have an audio copy of the entire show and it sounds very muted and old. I love the original music, voices, and instruments; but, isn't there a way to digitally re-master the original recording to improve the sound quality?

I concor. Update the AAs, the sound, bring in the Vacation Hoedown seasonally, the works!

CBJ won't be going away for a long time when you consider there's not much they can replace it with. Remember that the bears' theater is boxed in between the shop and the Pecos Bill(The Pecos Bill's kitchen area is directly behind the bears' backstage area and the shop is behind the back wall of the seating area). Not much you can do without messing around with them.

Didn't Mr. Toad's Wild Ride flop and the ride closed shortly thereafter?

The movie Mr Toad's Wild Ride didn't have a wide release. I think it was a direct to video thing over here in the States. And considering the ride had been part of WDW since it opened in 1971 and operated for more than 20 years before Pooh replaced it....

I know that comparing ride movies to ride closings was a stretch, but the point was not what you or I thought but rather what the execs thought. They by some remote chance could look at movie sales as a measure of a ride's popularity. Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason to their decisions.

How long has CBJ been there?

Grizz, I think you are dead on with what should be done with CBJ!!! Too many people are just looking to get rid of old attractions and rides because they are not all E-ticket rides!!! CBJ and others like it are what make Disney, Disney (well for me at any rate). People would have fits if someone stated that PotC should be taken out because the pirates are not all top notch Audio-animatronics. Things should be upgraded at CBJ but don't mess with the show!!! And Grizz I'm looking for an avitar, got one of Max (seems like your the man to ask). Thanks!!!

Would there be a way to replace Buff and Max and ?? (can't remember right now) to make them a little quieter.

Sitting on the ride side of the theatre, their movements is about all you can hear.

I love Max, Buff & Melvin!

I remember when I was really little I had a Big Al plush. Remeber the ones with the plastic/rubber face? Actually it was my mom's (he was her fave bear) and I horked it from her.

I was so mad they didn't have a Henry plush though.
