Anyone else miss this show, I know we are in the middle of summer but I am planning my December trip right now and would love to see it again. It has been gone now a few years and I know that the 23 of us on here wont be able to bring it back.... but I do miss it!

The Christmas show was one of the last redeeming features of CBJ in my eyes. The frozen penguin shaking in the ice cube with the little bell noise.

"I thought you were gonna sing!"

It made me laugh every time.

I only saw the Christmas version once (back in Jan 2006, the last time it was run). But I enjoyed it a lot. I really wish it would be brought back.

Send Guest relations a letter (appearrently they get better reaction then emails or phonne calls) I encourage EVERYONE to do this ( I know I will) while I haven't been to WDW for Christmas siince '99 It doesn't FEEL like Christmas to me until i've seen Wendell kkill the lights w/ his Squirrel gun.

I miss it as well. It's not like the MK does too much for Christmas...well, 'cept for the castle now....but it can't be that much of an expense to a truly charming experience.

I know many people may roll their eyes but I too love the Christmas show. I even have the album on my iPod. The entire Christmas show. And occasionally when I'm down I will listen to it. Christmas and Disney are my favorite things.

On other occasions I will listen to it just because I love it and miss it as well. Such a shame that we will never see it again.

while we're on the subject of the Christmas show, here's a video clip of an extended version of the ending:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqaZGirImJs

(the extension being Max,Buff & Melvin saying goodbye before the lights come back on) I realize this clip is from Disneyland but i'm guessing it was used in Florida too. if it was, any idea hyow long it lasted b4 it was cut?

Count me among those who would also really love to see the show. I will be sending a letter out tomorrow (same letter I've sent the last two years!) requesting they bring the show back. Good thinking starting this thread in the summer, when there is still the chance of it coming back for the year, rather than 1 week prior to the date it should go up. Still, I doubt we will have much impact. :(

This will be my first time doing Christmas Time at WDW, I would love to see Country Bear Jamboree Christmas show. Where do I write?

We shoud do a campaign like the ones that sent peanuts to CBS over some cancelled show.

here's where to write:

Walt Disney World Guest Communications

I have already started a petition to bring the show back (I will be including the link in my letter but here it is for anyone who has NOT already signed it:

http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/cbcs/

Done! Thanks for the link! Here's just a sample of my feelings I expressed to the WDW company. Let's hope the true fans will have their wishes come true and the show will return.

"To whom it may concern,
There is no better combination of two magical ideas than Disney World and Christmas. In celebrating Christmas Disney has so many things that help bring this holiday to life. But one of the enchanting elements has been missing for so long. Please bring back the Country Bear Christmas Show for not only the original fans, but for future generations so they can see how the Imagineers always take that extra step in celebrating the magic of Christmas."

"To all who come to this happy place...welcome!"

As much as I wish the Xmas overlay would happen again, I doubt it until the current bean counting management at WDW is gone. John Lassiter is championing DL and unless he decides to involve himself at the same level with WDW then I think we will have to wait until someone who loves enhancing the experience more than worrying about the bottom line. What they need to remember is one of the reasons Walt was never satisfied was he knew every improvement, every time he added something, tended to help the bottom line by having satisfied repeat customers.
