I've started the countdown to Christmas with my holyday tradition: Christmas movies!!

The first one, today, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas. Wonderful movie, and very touching too. I plan on acquiring it on DVD soon... Right, Spidey? ;)

Do you watch the same movie on the same day each year, or do you mix them up?

That's a good one...I'm watching the Christmas Story today at lunchtime :) I love Ralphie :)

Tonight, while wrapping gifts, I will watch Christmas Vacation.

Tomorrow night I will watch Back to the Future (I know...not Christmas...but it comes out tomorrow  )

Wednesday night will be Mickey's Christmas Carol and Rudolph

Thursday will be the Grinch and Year W/O a Santa Claus

Friday I'll be going out.

Saturday I'll be going out

Sunday will be Santa Claus is coming to town and Prancer :) (touching movie  )

Monday - One Magic Christmas

Tuesday is Xmas eve and it's "24 Hours of the Christmas Story  )

Most of the others I watched on our annual Saturday after Thanksgiving Trim the Tree day.

But Christmas Vacation tonight sounds good.

Yes Roddy. ;)

I can't watch Back to the Future til later as my wife as claimed it a Christmas worthy gift (and I agree).

Nah, I mix tem up. I try to save everything for the last week before Christmas, trying to fit my brother (and now Julia) into the equation. The ones I know he doesn't care to miss I watch when I can, and the ones I know he'll want to watch, I wait for him.
This year I have Mickey's OUaC, Snowed in at the House of Mouse, The Grinch, Gremlins (Spidey's suggestion), and Die Hard 1 & 2 (OK, action flicks, but they're both during Christmas!!).
I hope to add Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas (the cartoon) to the list, but it still hasn't been released down here on DVD, so I hope I can catch it on Cartoon Network, and I also wanna watch Recess: Miracle at 3rd Street on the Disney Channel this week.

Yeah, I know. Mine is Stan Lee: Mutants, Monsters and Marvels. I REALLY wanna watch it, but my brother also does also. I was gonna save it to watch with Julia but I think she's been hinting that she doesn't care, so...

Oh, and I forgot The Santa Clause on my list above, we saw the first one last weekend. I had to, Julia's VCR is broken, we traveled this weekend and next weekend we'll be watching the second one, so there was no other opportunity. I taped it from TV and they haven't released it on DVD down here, I'm hoping they'll do it once the second one comes out, maybe a 2-pack or something. Then again, maybe not, we only have Extremely Goofy Movie on DVD, they never released the first one...

Well, due to my brother's busy life, I spent two days this week with no Xmas movies...

But today we're watching Die Hard, so I supose tomorrow is Die Hard 2. Then Saturday is either The Grinch or Gremlins, Sunday is Santa Clause 2, Monday is Snowed In and Tuesday is How the Grinch Stole Christmas on Cartoon Network! :sohappy:

(still, to this day...if a girl says I'm cute or something...I feel like Rudolph when Clarice says it to him... "I'm cute...she thinks I'm cuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuute :) ")

Yes, to each his own, but my wife and I cringe when that movie comes on. Now, Rudolph is a different story. I drive my kids nuts by making them watch it AND doing dialogue before it happens in the movie. I never miss Rudolph.

You don't need to do that routine very often then?

Just kidding. :animwink:

OK, just watched Snowed In at the House of Mouse, and it seems to me that its storyline is much more cohese than the one on House of Villains... Or am I just contaminated by the season? ;)

Ok, now that the countdown went back to 363, I thought I'd share what Santa brought! :xmas: And boy, did he come packed!!! :sohappy: I got a a couple of shorts, 3 porcelaine figures (Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy and Pinocchio and Cricket, but not the Disney version). On the DVD front, I got ET, The Simpsons First Season, the Beverly Hills Cop set and the Mr. Bean set. :p :p :p

Anybody else wanna go?? :D
