Coud Beastly Kingdom possibly still be built for AKs 10th?

I like the idea of spreading beastly kingdom throughout the park like they seem to be doing with Everest. It makes a lot of sense to put these mythological creatures in the countries they originate from.
(Drift) On another note, I'd like to see a North America land built in the Animal Kingdom. A lot to work with! For a North American mythological creature, they could use the Swamp Monster with a whole new ride concept. They could build a ride with fast boats running from the Swamp Monster that haunts the swamps of Louisiana or Florida. Kind of like the end of Test Track but instead it would be in a boat on the water. It could be the first of its kind.

Umm...is that "swamp" monster as well known as Loch Ness or the Abominable?

North America would have much better things to bring to the table than that "swamp" monster. I mean, Brother Bear should go THERE...have a lot of animal exhibits with bears, moose, deer, etc. (Other than the meet and greet characters...I don't think that there is a bear represented in the Animal Kingdom is there?)

(and by Brother Bear...I just mean an attraction based on it...not a Raft ride...since there is already one in that park)

Why not have a "Backyard Animals" exhibit and show skunks, raccoons, opposum, chipmunks, squirrels, etc.

See, I always thought of Camp Minnie-Mickey as AK's North American land. It's similar to the Adirondacks or the Pocono Mountains, save for Festival of the Lion King. Brother Bear stuff, if it comes into the parks at all, belongs in that area. Maybe expand it, add a Splash Mountian-style ride, or something.

But back to the topic at hand, BK sounds like a great idea, but as I've said before, I refuse to beleive the "Universial stole out idea!" company line. That's why it doesn't exist in the first place, right?

Nah, Disney never said that. That's just internet & CM rumor.

Disney had better plans then the Lost Continent. Having said that, the Lost Continent is pretty darn cool. :)

Let's all remember that Splash Mt was a scrapped project until management changed! Now, I'm not saying BK will happen, but as Lee said: Never say never. :animwink:

Just some thoughts...

I'd like to see Australia added right around the time of Everest. They could start off the land with just animal exhibits and then build it up with rides later to save money. Everest is going to be expensive, so I'm sure they want to save where they can and adding something else on the opposite side of the park will help with crowds. I'd also like to see a North America area built in the next couple years with a Brother Bear themed ride and play area and have animal exhibits of bears, cougars, bison, elk, deer and others. They could have a ride that incorporates Big Foot into it. A few years later then they can build a Europe area that has an old abandoned castle with a dragon living under it like at DL Paris. They could also have a roller coaster ride with a few dragons, Merlin and other mystical creatures. Actually I just thought that if they are thinking of building stuff for Harry Potter maybe this would be a good place because there are dragons and such in the movie. There could also be animal exhibits of European animals and a ride with the Loch Ness monster.

I always liked the parade dragon themed coaster that would go on the wall of china and such that they were gonna do for Westcot, and if not china in epcot then why not asia in Ak. There is so much potential there it's not funny, but they seem to like to limit there possibilities from the get go.

Yeah. I always considered Dinoland USA north America but just by covering the extinct animals of North America.

Anyway, Lion King should be moved to Afrika and then Camp Minnie Mickey should be destroyed because it was never ment to be and is just a cheap area made for capacity problems when the park first opened.

People don't need to come to Disney to see that...I can charge $10 and people can come to MY backyard....it's overrun with those sorts of animals!

You never heard of it? LOL..must be cause I lived in South Florida.
People in Puerto Rico and other locations thought there was a little alien type creature who would kill their livestock by biting their necks and s__________g everything from their insides out. The only thing left would be the animal with two little holes in it's neck. I'm sure someone can explain it better than me, but oh well.

I always thought it was well known, but I guess it is just because I live in the swamp. I still like my idea.

Hey... Everest is in a perfect location. Because Yetis have both been sited in the USA (bigfoot) and around where Everest is.

Hmm... a ride of Gryphons would be cool... what else...

Wear-wolves would be cool though but would that fit?

BK was the planned land for AK that would have the mystical animals such as Dragons, Unicorns, and Wizards. Fantasia would play a role, as would Sleeping Beauty. But the dragons of course would look much different. There was also a "Merlin's Magical Zoo" with lots of Animatronic Animals planned. They would interact with the guests too. Very advanced. But Alas, it was not meant to be. :(

thanx:)

It's another name for Eisner, translated from spanish it means goatsucker (cabra is goat).

The chupacabra roams Puerto Rico, Mexico and some other Spanish countries being the cause of unexplained animal deaths. In some pictures it is more of a devil type creature with horns and wings, others more like a vampire.

But if Disney has a hard time travelling to Puerto Rico for the capture, I will be happy to send the Jersey Devil down to liven the place up....
