Outdoor masks and temperature checks were removed on my last day there in May of last year. It would be my luck that the indoor masks are removed the last day of my next trip…
I get it. Indoor masks were removed 3 days after my trip last year. Which is why I joke. When is your next trip?

Even today with everything open the Walmarts.. Home Depot’s.. pharmacies..grocery stores... probably 90% of the restaurants out there are still doing order online and have it delivered to your car or pick up right inside the door because much of the population still doesn’t want to go out. I think that’s here to stay. I have no worries about masking up and going in somewhere but I never do anymore just because it’s so convenient now with delivery right to the car. The hours a week in savings is worth it.
Hours? To me, if I'm in a hurry for something, it just seems more efficient to go in and get it myself rather than wait in my car for someone to bring it to me.

I travel for work. The areas I’ve been in have been all over the map politically and i haven’t seen any restaurants that are at pre-covid capacity. They seem to always be 50-80% empty.

Obviously that’s just my anecdotal observations.
I guess it depends. Was in El Paso and southern NM last week and everything was pretty packed.

Many hours in fact. Whether it’s my wife or I placing a order, the store will usually hold it for a few days so next time out I swing by, tell them I’m here and haven’t waited longer the 10 minutes anywhere,at any place. I figure each visit with parking and what we may need saves us a hour at least, and we are doing other things .Of course we usually wait until we need a few things not one item

You must take longer shopping than I do.

It’s an early release, so go ahead and find all the flaws in it.

Before Omicron too.

Otherwise, that’s some nice improvement from something useless.

PS: Based on my trip, it’ll be July before they’re dropped.
The Footnotes in the graph say it all. Although it's more of a survey than a study. It's got 8 bits in the fine print that'll make it easy to take apart. (Not statistically significant)

The "Not statistically Significant" only applies to the difference between the cloth mask and no mask.

In my area there are still notable shortages so reserving items online for pickup saves trips walking through the store only to discover that whatever you came in for is sold out.
This is a huge advantage, even when a website says somethings in stock it often isn’t when you get there.

If something isn’t available at my nearest store I use mobile order to guarantee it’s in stock before driving to a further away store.

Yet the infographic states a 56% benefit from a cloth mask, tough statistically insignificant.

Does it then follow, by the visual summary, the KN95, at 83% benefit, is 27% better than statistically insignificant?

We don’t enjoy that kind of retail efficiency just yet, but we’ve saved similar time by doing in-store pickup. Our curbside teams are so short that parking lot waits can be a bit obnoxious, but a quick masked up trip to the pickup counter or CS desk is all it takes to save 30-40 minutes per Target run. Plus, the money saved.

OC was blue for a while last fall and Disney did nothing. WhT they use to measure the mask guidance is a total mystery. Who knows when or IF they’ll ever drop it
Yep. It was blue in November for a short while. When I went cases were super low. They kept them much to my friends dismay. Disney is on their own set of rules so to speak with this.

It will be when they drop not if.

I have always been lazy and prefer to order when I can. :hilarious: That was happening with or without the pandemic. It may have gotten accelerated a bit though....
This is true for me, too. I had started doing grocery pickup before the pandemic, but it obviously became much more of a habit during. It's cheaper and quicker. Cheaper because much less impulse buying, lol.

Where‘s the fun in that? 😉

I’ve been guilty of SullyinMTs post above many times, I’ll go to Target for 1 thing and come out with a cart full of stuff.
