Glad to hear it. Sorry about your surgical delay. She seems to be doing OK fever flue like symptoms what sucks is i was scheduled for surgery Tuesday and it has been postponed until Jan 25 because of contact with her prior to symptoms
I got vaccinated both shots plus boaster my daughter in law got both shots and came down with covid last night--- tested + twice with home test kit. I'm beginning to think the vaccine is not all it's cracked up to be.
Read the last sentence. I stated that some coronaviruses are a cause of the common cold.Coronaviruses do indeed cause common colds. Covid is just a bear of one. If covid can become more lamb like - like its distant cousins then I agree 100% with the poster. Even if it can be on flu levels normally I agree as well.
I read your comments though I wasn't sure what was being said since they read contradictory to me (and I admit I could have read wrong) so I just restated. I just don't agree that if we treat the flu how we do, that if covid turns like most other coronaviruses that people need to freak out. We have many viruses that can hospitalize people but if as a whole covid goes soft, then I won't push my vaccine feelings on others. If it remains an issue, I will. Hope that makes senseRead the last sentence. I stated that some coronaviruses are a cause of the common cold.
The flu already causes issues in the winter. Doubling that would still cause problems for at least the next few years.
Sorry for the delay in surgery. Hope she recovers as quickly as possible and you stay symptom free! She seems to be doing OK fever flue like symptoms what sucks is i was scheduled for surgery Tuesday and it has been postponed until Jan 25 because of contact with her prior to symptoms
I have to be kind of blunt about this, but having traveled quite a bit for work, I find even the best WDW hotels to be a bit underwhelming and a horrible value.Room is approx $1.5K per night in March/April but makes the Grand Floridian seem like a Sheraton.
Former Hilton Diamond here, now Titanium Bonvoy with Marriott. I find better, more consistent service with Marriott (and former Starwood) properties. It’s on my bucket list. I have Diamond status with Hilton and primarily use points for our stays at the Waldorf BC. The perks and service are top notch.
The vaccine's not an impenetrable brick wall, it's training for your body to defend itself from the virus.I got vaccinated both shots plus boaster my daughter in law got both shots and came down with covid last night--- tested + twice with home test kit. LOVED SPG. They had the best hotel options, point system, service and perks. In my opinion that has all gone down hill since Marriott took over. I switched to the next best option and that was Hilton.Former Hilton Diamond here, now Titanium Bonvoy with Marriott. We were extremely loyal to Swan and Dolphin when we went for our Disney trips. Now it’s mostly Waldorf or Signia BC.
Weird, it's been the opposite experience for me (except the Waldorf and Signia).LOVED SPG. They had the best hotel options, point system, service and perks. In my opinion that has all gone down hill since Marriott took over. I switched to the next best option and that was Hilton.

The article doesn't address how many of these were admitted because of COVID and how many were admitted for other reasons and then tested positive.
Back at the very beginning in late February or very early March of 2020, chlorox wipes were on sale so I bought some for my supply that I have always used to wipe down airplane seats and hotel rooms. I stopped by my business partner's house and he always made fun of me for being a germaphobe. He made a joke about the wipes in my car so I read the label to him and said "see, it kills human coronavirus."Coronaviruses do indeed cause common colds. Covid is just a bear of one. It could be any number of infections or viruses I imagine. Other things are still around. I have had a few things over the last few months but it was never Covid.Anyone experience this? I’m fully vaccinated, not boosted. Son came down with a runny nose and cough just before Christmas and was fine after 2-3 days, but we cancelled Christmas activities with family just to be safe.
Day after Christmas I started feeling blah. Aches, sore throat, runny nose and stuffiness. Wife shortly followed with the same symptoms. Neither of us got fevers. We each tested negative twice waiting 48 hours between tests. Started feeling better and the only thing that remained was the occasional nasal congestion. Haven’t really slept well the last week and a half as a result.
Well last night I started to feel blah again. Really tired, body aches, no appetite. Took ANOTHER rapid test. Still negative. Could this be a case of consistent false positives+long mild covid? We live in South FL btw, so we’re sure in the thick of it right now. If this isn’t covid, it’s one hell of a cold.
