So far it pretty much is, right? They haven't recommended MRNA boosters for everyone yet. Just older and high risk.

J&J is recommended for everyone, and rightly so.
In my area, parents/caregivers of high risk individuals were also given priority in January, and have also been allowed to get the booster. I got mine earlier this week. Same general symptoms as the first two doses…a little chills, extra fatigue for about 36 hrs (starting about 8 hours or so after the shot). DH needs to get his next.

flu shots are up next after this

Just north of Tulum for the last week. Beautiful weather, bath tub temp ocean, excellent snorkeling, thousands of fish, many turtles, dive bombing pelicans, and natural social distancing. Not been within 10 feet of other people all week. All at a fraction of the cost of WDW. Time to live life.

I was off (again, lol) in my prediction that Canada would reach 90% of 12+ with at least one dose by the end of this month, but today the country did hit 89% of that age group, over 84% with both doses.

They readjusted the data with new StatsCan population Info and some third doses were mistakenly being counted. So it dropped by a couple percentage points earlier this month. Oh well, still we'll hit 90% soon enough.

We were both right (based on the incorrect data). :p

They did all that for ONE positive case. Park will also close November 1 and 2. They are really taking "zero tolerance" seriously.

Someone should make a movie about what the scene would be like if they did that at WDW! It would make The Hunger Games look like a Disney cartoon!

Just saw that Florida has its lowest Covid cases since July. I wonder why (sarcasm). Mask mandates need to stay until this virus gets slowed down. I didn’t see anybody complain of the mask mandates my entire trip, surprisingly.

Depends where you are. Outside of the urban sprawl masks are pretty rare. Inside the 417 beltway i noticed its far more common.
You can't possibly be suggesting that people wearing masks indoors at WDW is the reason that FL's case level has come down. There is no statewide mandate nor any local mandates and the vast majority of businesses don't require them.

Observationally, there was a slight increase in people voluntarily masking when the spike got real bad but, for the most part, the people who kept masking in May are the ones who have been masking through the rise and fall of the spike.

The cases coming down are mostly due to a combination of slowly increasing vaccination rates and the large number of people who were infected and recovered during the late June through late September time frame.
