I think many restaurants and shops will be reopening by September/October or November as the virus cases are so low as many people are vaccinated in NYC and NJ. I'm also expecting transportation such as Amtrak, NJ Transit as subway trains, buses and planes will stop using masks by this fall.

At this time there’s no mandates regarding the opening of restaurants and shops.

Carnival and Royal Caribbean are on board requiring unvax to buy travel insurance and pay cruise line covid test prior to boarding.

I’d like to see them double fares and then give a credit (and free drink package!) to the vaxxed.

What's immoral is Krispy Kreme's incentive to get a shot, a free glazed donut everyday for 2021 at KK locations just by showing your vaccination card.

I've been using this incentive at least once a week! It makes my longer runs a bit more sweet haha

It’s an admission by Universal that they’re well aware of the minority of stupids that will pose an equal or greater threat to their TM by being physically confrontational.
I wish one of these companies would adopt the cruise lines’ plans of making it uncomfortable for the willfully unvaccinated. Under 12? Sorry, mask must be up indoors, kids. You know, the way the CDC originally recommended when we were headed in the right direction.

Unvaxxed and 13 or over? Your ticket costs an additional 50%. Mask on all the time and you can only enjoy attractions, dining, shopping, and shows that occur fully outdoors. Call it the nahtapassport guest protection plan.

Florida reports another 17,589 COVID-19 cases

Florida on Wednesday reported 17,589 new COVID-19 cases and 56 deaths, according to data released Thursday by the CDC. Florida accounted for 14% of the total deaths reported nationwide.

If I'm not mistaken this is Florida's 4th highest reported day. The other 3 were in January.

I had zero problem with either shot of Pfizer. I know many did but if needed, roll it out. Let’s get this stuff taken care of.

Or they could be looking at what happened in the UK with data, even after opened up and see that the Delta wave will probably peak out in a week or two. Least folks have a choice between the two.

It’s not lying. If the only reason was transmission from vaccinated people it would be nationally not in high spread areas. It’s obvious that the real reason is spread is too high in some areas. You wearing a mask does nothing to stop that, but everyone wearing a mask in public can help because “everyone” includes the unvaccinated. It’s not about you it’s about the group.

About 50% of the US does not abide by that sentiment
