I think a little inconvenience for the health of the general population is a fair trade off.
What if you're in that position? Would you wait one to two hours outside just to get in then wait again at the cashier? Would you just wanna go inside and leave as quickly as possible?

I would want to go inside and leave as quickly as possible....but given the circumstances if I needed something from the store, then I guess I'm waiting outside. Not ideal, but it is what it is.

"Today, I directed ALL nonessential businesses to close. I repeat. If you are NOT an essential business, I am using my power as Governor under an emergency declaration to order you to close."

Yet we will still have business claim they are essential....like EB Games (Gamestop)....smh. :bored:

Actually I never heard that. The only thing I heard was that Italy said they got it from some factory in Germany (which didn't make sense)
When I did a few minutes googling I also only found explanations that to me, don't add up. For example, "Official Patient 0 in Lombardy didn't come from China. He only had one friend from China, who tested negative".

But if the direct flight thing is true I can imagine how hundreds of carriers from Wuhan might have fled to Italy in just a few days. There could have been 500 Patient Zeroes.

The cheek kissing thing doesn't add up. It's not as if blowing your nose and shaking everyone's hand wouldn't do the same thing.

Apparently some YouTuber managed to get onto EB Game's conference call where management asked local store managers to argue with local authorities that the store is an essential business.

Not sure how true this is though.
As soon as "youtuber" is attached to anything, my default is to not believe it unless it gets talked about by major media outlets.

This is the video that people were talking about. I haven't watch it (not wasting 40 minutes...lol) but if you want to watch it:

I'm not going to watch the whole thing, but the first thing that bothers me is that he's only playing one side of the conversation...which means context is lacking. I also don't know if this guy's had a prior beef with the company, so there's that as well. He may be telling the truth, but there is just too much room for questioning the validity. If a major news outlet gets hold of the full recording...that will be a different story.

Let's also make note that many people ignore the social distancing "because I'm healthy so I won't get the virus" and many people either don't wash their hands or barely wash their hands.

:(
Let's also not be overreacting and paranoid about social distancing. I see some people look at other people with disgust whenever they get too close to their space or even just a slight cough.

Example is this although I kinda laughed when she inserted that Windows shutdown sound. It's at 4:55 mark.

I agree with your overreacting comment, but one foot between people is too close and I’ve seen complaints about that locally.

The are trying to sue him, from what he’s said overall as a lot of people have turned on GameStop and go to him. I don’t know why he started, but this as been over a year of him producing videos against them. He’s got a pretty good track record about their scummy practices and actually was the first to expose them over their COVID-19 practices that has been picked up by news sites. He does also claim to have a corporate contact at the company.

So the thing is to take it as it is.
