Saw this bozo and his medical sidekick do an interview. When pressed to explain the methodology, DeWine deferred to his medical sockpuppet, she could explain nothing about the methodology by which the conclusion was derived. Her best explanation was " I am tired, I cannot remember the details." Well sugar britches, before you get on national tv with such a claim, you better damn well have your story straight. How anyone could get on national TV and claim their state has more infected individuals than the entire world (at that time) without having an iron clad analysis to back it up? Its beyond me. The host should have thrown them off the air.

This was the most blatant attempt to create panic I have seen yet.
No, no, these are not bozos creating panic, they are respected "medical and government officials" that we should follow without question as others have told us.

Completely understood - everybody understands this particular virus is not influenza. The point being that influenza every year kills 40-60K people in the US and the vast majority of those deaths are this similar set of individuals (elderly and those of any age with pre-existing conditions) so they should, like always, be taking extra precautions, especially when this particular virus is more dangerous - for those people.
Agreed. One of the biggest problems is it’s still flu season and some of those high risk people that got the flu are still in the hospital using ICU beds and ventilators. If we can delay a sharp increase in Corona some of those beds will be freed up one way or another and flu season is almost over.

If this post is too off topic I’ll remove it...just ask...

Is anyone else extremely bothered by how much Amazon will profit off this situation?

I’ve been personally boycotting Amazon for over a year.. understanding that I’m not making much of a dent, but still doing what I can to support local and brick & mortar stores.
As if Amazon trucks weren’t already neighborhood mainstays, there’s going to be even more now.

When I got told to work from home I was able to get a monitor delivered in 2 days with Prime shipping. I’d be blind looking at that little laptop screen for weeks. They are still OK in my book.

Not at all, was just saying to my wife last night, thank god they are still operating. If Amazon shuts down, THEN we will see panic. If we want people to self-isolate, they need to be able to get goods and Amazon provides a service that we couldn't have imagined just years ago. Bless little creepy Jeff Bezos' monitoring my Alexa's heart.

Amazon Adding 100,000 Warehouse and Delivery Workers Amid Shutdowns
Amazon.com plans to hire an additional 100,000 employees in the U.S., as people are turning to online deliveries at a breakneck pace to help contain the spread of the new coronavirus.

That is true. I just hope people shop other places besides Amazon during this time, at least in addition to. All stores should go to free shipping right now.
